My LiveWire Had a Problem: What Happened

Glad you could get the bike into the Harley shop. That split to Livewire and no local support SUCKS. That would be a bad deal. I would want that Harley shop support also. Dealer support is a big deal. Seems like a bad move by Harley. OUCH, $1100 for the screen! Analog gauges sound pretty good at those prices. One time use mounting brackets??? Didn't plug the bike in... Are you supposed to charge to 100% with the Livewire? How does it do with your daily commute? I don't ride enough now to justify buying an electric bike so I am not tempted to jump. I have been out once this year on the bike for memorial day ride, and another trip to get a state required safety inspection and that is it. I need to take some time to ride, but priorities changed so my recreational time no longer prioritizes the bike like I once did. I do miss it. The Livewire does look and sound like fun.

Did they say if the original issue had been addressed with the new screen that they installed?

They did not, but from what I read in forums it should be.

I thought about getting a live wire, but got a Bolt instead. Same price. No contest.

What did the ESP cost?

I don’t recall exactly, I’d have to check the paperwork. It was more than this repair, I know that much, but this repair took a big chunk out of the cost.
