Roger you are a Jack of all trades. Mike Brown may try to get in touch with you I suggested that you two Englishmen try to get together I think it will make for a great time between you two.

I must be doing something very wrong here. I have that Logan cutting tool, bevel cutter model 2000, but I don't have the measuring/ruler board so I just need to do it with a metal ruler. However, two things: 1. I use standard matte board - about 1.44, and I find it extraordinarily difficult to cut. I've lowered the blade so that it can easily cut through, but it never does and I always need to make multiple cuts, irrespective if its a brand new blade. You look to be using the same board and yet your tool cuts through it like butter with hardly any effort!?!? 2. The more annoying thing is this - when I mark up the board for cutting, and then use those pencil guides, I cut through, but then the bevel is the wrong way up!!! I get the bevel edge (i e the angle you need/want on the front side) cutting in on the side of the pencil marks. Its like the tool blade is at the wrong angle and needs reversing so that it cuts in the opposite 45 degrees so that I correctly get the cut on the reverse side of the board - without the pencil marks, like it is supposed to! Am I going insane? I quite literally follow your instructions and others, but my bloody tool does it all back to front. Honestly feels like Im going mad. EDIT - Ok so this is very important for anyone not using a Logan ruler board and you're doing it manually. You need to make sure you are cutting on the inside of the shape you're cutting out in order to get the bevel on the correct angle. See here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5rVp6WwoaZ3r9E&feature=shares

Nice video. You did not use the production stops so for your kind of use some cheaper models from Logan would do it too. I cut my own glass with the same board and a glass cutter (also from Logan). Great tools.

I never knew I could cut glass on it with a logan glass cutter. Makes sense though

Is that the Keswick Pier that you have hanging in above the radiator? Thanks for the video! I’ve been considering getting one of these so I can start framing my prints too.

I didnt see the reason why he had to take the backing board to the cutter when he could have marked that on the bench, but the end result looked good.

Hi very interesting your video. But I think you have a mistake because the uper space must be litle than under space if they are equals when you see the board it seems that the under is litle than the uper. I sugest your tu chek about FALCON RULE that was sel in USA asapted to frame. I m going to send you a mail with the graphic that explain it. Best regards from ARGENTINA
