My Long Battle with Depression

People don't pretend to be depressed; they pretend to be okay.
I have had depression as long as I could remember. I've had my moments where I thought I could never find the light at the end of my tunnel. As I am going through my toughest moment yet, I decided it is best for me to share my story, to spread awareness on depression.

Wow your mom could face charges if someone called the police that time. Man I am so sorry….I am glad you are doing better or are you? You mentioned you attempted suicide, sorry if it’s a rude question but was it because of your mom?

Im glad you are sharing your story. Not only you are letting it out by also helping others as well. You are allowing people who are also suffering from depression that they are not alone. And I pray that God will heal you! He provides for us! He will save you! You gotta keep praying too!

Greetings again. From one late bloomer to another, I also had existential crises during my life and have faced heat and backlash from classmates and family members for not living up to today's standards. I've had to learn how to filter out negativity as much as possible while also living life on my own terms. I'd like to think that I've done fine so far even though I still get heat from people still close to me sometimes. I'm sure that you'll get to places, too, and you'll know what *NOT* to do if or when you become a father yourself. You can do this.
