Hi guys, I have a question. Sometimes I got comments that for some people my videos looked too bright and over-exposed. It happens because I film my videos with iPhone 12 camera that has the HDR (high dynamic range) feature, and not all devices support HDR. I filmed this very video with HDR as well, but I edited it in a different program. So the question is, if my videos used to be overexposed on your devices before, has anything changed now or it looks the same bad for you? If so, what kind of device you use to watch my videos? And the opposite question, if my videos used to be all right for you, has anything changed to the worse?

EDIT: While watching on a PC on a screen with no HDR support, it looks fine, but I will look at them side by side when I'm home.

If you travel in the air, one trick works on me. Drink a glass of wine, I usually don't drink it knocks me out for 3 hours. Once Dutch boy and girl next to me, we had 4 seats and 3 guys, and we made a plan to let one sleep in 2 seats, while other two were talking, took turns every 2 hours. This was extremely comfortable.

I have NEVER come across someone so rude as to not let someone get out from their seat. As for the longest flight itinerary: the longest I've done on a regular basis is between New Zealand and Moscow. If travelling via Australia and Dubai it's about 32 hours, but once direct Auckland/Dubai was available this dropped to 28 hours -- 16-17 hours on the Auckland/Dubai flight itself. From an Aussie, this is a charming vid. I recall my first experiences flying, I was in my 20s, about 40 years ago. I too enjoyed time with friends waiting in the departure lounge, and then being greeted on return at the arrivals lounge. That joy has been eroded these days by the imposition of security checks. Two other things which has taken the romance away from air travel are the reduced space for each seat on the aircraft (makes me feel like a sardine in a can) and paying for car parking by time (It's impossible to relax and enjoy company knowing there is a meter ticking and racking up the bill just for parking your car)
@ivanolsen85963 жыл бұрын
Another Aussie here, flying is no longer the joy it used to be, the cattle class seating is so uncomfortable, I flew from Manila to Hong Kong and requested a window seat, told non available but was asked if wanted to go business class for one, was surprised at the space and service they had, too bad the flight was only 1 hour. The airports dont contribute to any joy either, they seem to like being as difficult as possible. Too bad there's not a better alternative.

Russia being as vast as it is has so much history going back thousands of years (back to the age of the Flinstones, lol, I always loved the Flinstones' dino airliner). I am 25 pct of Russian blood, Italian and Scotch-Irish makes up the rest of my genealogy. My Russian family is on our maternal side, and came to the US with waves of immigrants before WW1, as did my paternal Italian grandpa and grandma. My Scotch/Irish roots date back to the colonization of Massachusetts, and some intermarriage gave me a tiny bit of Native American blood from the New England native American tribes. When Brezhnev led Russia, and I was just a young boy, as part of an international study project in my Christian grammar school, our teacher asked us to contact a country and get them to send anything they could. I chose the then Soviet Union, writing their consulate for information on the country. My teacher did not want me to hope too much, given detente still had not begun yet. But the Soviet Union, after I wrote a letter as only a teenager would asking to know of their country, and explaining it was for a school project, sent me a huge packet of magazines and books, which I still own today, 48 years later. They are among my most treasured possessions and warmed me to Russia. All countries have their print magazines and books to serve as propaganda--that is what fosters tourism. What I received from the Soviet consulate was well done, and did not talk down to me as a still young, teen child. I got an A+ on that class project and a lot of pats on the back even from the school bully (every school has one?). Go Natasha!

The temperature difference between London (winter) and Sydney (summer) must've been eye watering, and added to the exhaustion/jet lag and possible excitement/anxiety of being a lone travelling child no-doubt ensured it remained in your long-term memory. I had a rather shorter all day trip in 1952 aboard an ANA Douglas DC-6B non-pressurised piston engined aircraft from Sydney to Perth via Adelaide at age 7, but my family were only a few seats away. However, the adult passenger next to me happily munched away at my meagre supply of "Minties" which Mum had provided to assist with my eustacian-tube clearing as the altitude changed. I regret offering them to him, but I was far too polite about the age imbalance to secretly eat them all myself. Thank goodness for pressurised aircraft 🙄. The Vickers Viscount turboprop with huge scenic oval windows, operated by TAA many years later was a marvellous way to do the same route. No "Minties" required.

@@Matt_from_Florida Your comment got me to reminisce via some old KZbin videos so I could hear those _Dart turboprops,_ and I realised that inside the plane they were fairly quiet, but outside, the distinctive sound was definitely memorable 😀. Khabarovsk Airport looks modern! My brother sometimes takes my father and I on pre-recorded car trips over Zoom but this is much better. Although I like the car trips too. OH yeah biggest trip 24 hours Melbourne to Madrid via Singapore and London.

In 1982 I drove in an old car ( '68 Holden) to Kalgoorlie from Melbourne Australia. It took me 5 days to do it alone. It was only 4 years previous that the road was paved all the way. But it was breaking up in a lot of places already because of the trucks.

Wow! That must have been way more difficult than it would appear. In an old car without the modern comforts! Actually it's probably better that you were alone, because if you were with a partner, you would probably hate eat each by the time you arrived!!!!! It would be amazing to know your opinion. I'm also a big follower of this channel and I likewise make videos regarding life in Russia. Sadly the youtube algorithm has actually not been as good to me yet. Practically all those who views my videos claims that it is great, unfortunately very few get to enjoy it. Can you be completely honest and say just how I can improve? I value your honest point of view.

This was fun to see your journey across your country! I would love to see what Siberia looks like and the tundra north of it! Keep up the fantastic videos!! And yes, the guy who did not stand up or move his feet was very rude. Any decent person with manners would know to make room for you to pass. Very simple gesture!

Thank you for this content. I feel like traveling again after 2 years of pandemic. The atmosphere inside the flight and the feeling of travel is what I miss the most now. My longest flight was 9 hours from Beijing to Cairo and lucky for me the flight is at night so basically I just sleep throughout the flight.

It's great to see you Natasha. The guys sitting next to you were such immature and impolite jerks. It seems that there are many rude people everywhere these days. Have a pleasant and rewarding time in Moscow. I will be looking forward to your upcoming vlogs about your vacation. Take care. 🤗❤🛫🙏🌎

@@ИванСимонов-ы2ч Hi Ivan, you are of course right. I had the pleasure to travel Russia a little bit 5 years ago. People I met in the villages or at Solovecki islands were fantastic! But many of those I met in the cities - Piter or Moscow I could not bear. And I also met some Russians in my professional life - both face to face as well as in virtual space. I have never met such arrogance, such mastership, someone coming from a superpower and knowing everything better. This made my impression on the Russians and I just generalized a little bit.

I love your videos Natasha, your English is definitely getting better. Good to see you again, the last I saw of you was on Russian Plus with Slava. My longest flight has been 8 hours from Melbourne, Australia to Bangkok, Thailand.

Yeah, I found that really strange. The last place I would want to be stressed out and shout at somebody would be on a plane, but I would have definitely said something. I'd love to know your opinion. I'm also a big follower of this channel and I likewise create vlogs about life in Russia. unluckily the youtube algorithm has not been as great to me yet. @russiandrivers99863 жыл бұрын
I like the look of Khabarovsk airport - it has such a nice design. I think, if I ever visit Siberia I will definitely go to see that city. For long flights on the 777, if you can get the seat right at the back there are only two seats on the side instead of 3, so if you can choose your seat that would be a better choice. Personally, for short flights I take the window but on long ones I take the aisle.
