Hey y’all, I just remembered this detail that slipped through my notes (they help me stay on track so I don’t wander too much while retelling a story), but I wanted to add it because it’s just another thing that C did: Now, C was really insecure with himself, which I have absolutely no problem with. I completely understand that not everyone is happy with themselves, and we’re all on different journeys. HOWEVER, he would project his insecurities onto me all of the time. I wasn’t allowed to workout or better myself because he didn’t want me to become “out of his league”. He would also always say, “Who are you trying to look good for?” Whenever I dressed up nice, which still to this day upsets me because like…I look good for myself, not for anyone else. He should’ve been hyping me up instead of putting me down.
