Oh my, you brought back my love for my LV vintage bags. I bought them preloved and havent been using them for some time due to the rain. You have an amazing collection. The Noe is still sold in Europe for approximately £1,000 and the straps are interchangeable. It's my all time favourite LV bag. Also, if you send your older items for repair, you can ask them to keep the original date code in the bag.

Hi! I just purchased my very first vintage speedy 35. It is the first Louis Vuitton bag I own. It is from before the 1980s even and I absolutely love love love the quality of these older bags. They appear to be of much better quality than these recent ones, and, even if I did have the money to buy at an LV store (I cannot because I am also divorced with a daughter) I think I will only ever buy pre-loved. I do hear that LV personnel treats you awful if you go in with a pre-loved bag and that they can be mean and snobbish and catty to customers. Anyway, I swear I take my speedy 35 to bed even! It's with me everywhere I go except the loo ;-) Thank you for showing your amazing collection!

Beautiful vintage collection!! 😍Thanks for sharing. I have a Speedy 25 in the Azur print, and it’s from 2008.... before they added the inside zipper pocket,and puffy handle attached leather. I love it, and plan to keep it for years to come.

Just a note, in Paris purchased The Bucket Bag. Actually never looked at the tag to confirm date. Believe it was 2002 or 2003 . . waited in line for 1.5 hrs to get to a S.A. Love it!

I was fortunate enough that when LV replaced all my vachetta leather on my Speedy 30. They didn't remove my date code which I am so glad they didn't. Beautiful vintages bags......do you use any of these vintages bag ?

Oh my goodness, you are so lucky!!! Maybe they only do it when they replace the interior of the bag? As far as using them, the 2 that usually are part of my rotation are the Montsouris (weekend) and the bucket (work). I haven't used the others so much lately but pull them out once in a while..

Hi! Since you are so familiar with LV vintage bags, i figured I'd ask for some advice! I bought a vintage LV speedy 25 bag off of Poshmark months ago, and I was shocked at the great condition it was in. It was authenticated by Poshmark. When it arrived to my house, The leather handles were handpainted with leather paint. I love the bag, but the leather paint is starting to chip and I was wondering if there is any way I'll be able to remove it without messing up the bag. Thanks for any feedback!

Hi Hayley o sorry to hear the handles were painted over. Unfortunately I am not familiar with how to effectively remove paint from the vachetta. If you search on KZbin there are some videos on how to repair, etc I hope they disclosed the fact the handles were painted. Good luck. ❤️
