Idk what it is about 1s but I suck at it. I'm champ in 3s and high diamond in 2s, I get good goals and I'd say I don't play any worse than my teammates or opponents, but in 1s I lose to plats and I can't figure it out

1s is very very different to 2s and 3s you gotta play more 1s to get good at it. Also there are less 1s players and the mmr has less requirements (ssl in 1s mmr is the same as like gc1 mmr in 2s) so chances are you aren’t gonna be the same rank you are in 2s anyway

I was a d1 in 2s but I've dropped to plat 2-3 and can't get back to diamond but for some reason, I've been plat 2 in 1s the entire time

The MMR in 1s is alot different, as in champ 1-2 in 2s, is plat 3- diamond 1, in 1s, it takes alot more skill to get high in 1s, reason why most content creators tell you to play ones because it's better players

Your recoveries suck, you flip too much and you jump at everything. You also probably have no concept of how to properly and patiently play corners. At least, that is true for essentially 99% of the player base, give or take.

Because they’ve seen it all for years. Eventually that “nice shot” becomes a shot you’ve seen a million times so it’s not impressive anymore. Also, they have to focus and using quick chats takes away from focus

Day 3 of asking Retals for a controller overlay. His mechanics (zap dashes, wave dash kickoffs, flip resets) are so dang clean and it would help a lot if we could see his timings better
