My magical city - my second home 🇮🇸 PART 1

This video has a very special meaning for me. It got a little too long, so I decided to share it. Hjalteyri is simply my second home and I can't get enough of that place. This is where I have spent the most time while living in my RV. I often travel after 1-2 days, but here I can stay without getting restless.
In the video, you will experience how I follow Lene as she prepares goat skins in the workshop. We also jump in the hot tub overlooking the fjord and how I almost got blown over in the Walther and had to move the camper in the middle of the night. We blow a lot of eggs, go sailing, spot whales and snorkel in the crystal clear water.
I really hope you will enjoy following my experiences here.
And look forward to part 2, where we continue to follow Lene's process with the goatskin. In this part you also see how Lene creates a beautiful wooden cup, we visit the fantastic restaurant and an inspiring and very different gallery, try our hand at paddleboarding, and I take you up to her breathtaking attic, where she hides all her natural treasures. Traveling is in my blood.
I have taken the consequence of this and in 2019 sold everything I owned and resigned my house. Today I live in a motorhome and live under the heading 'Work and Travel'. I work as an independent graphic designer, lecturer and photographer and carry my work with me wherever I go.
I enjoy being in nature from morning to night. This is where I find peace and inspiration to be creative both as a person, graphic artist and photographer.
I'm giving a talk about my encounter with minimalism and my process to the lifestyle I have today, where I said goodbye to the life of fixed residence, way too many things and a walk-in bigger than the motorhome I drive around i. On my blog and social media, I talk about my experiences from life in a motorhome.
It has given me great joy in life and a special drive to follow my own dream to the door. I hope that by sharing my experiences I can inspire others to also take both the big and small steps that give more joy in everyday life.
