I've been watching you from day one! You were my therapy while my daughter Monroe was at The Riley Children's hospital in Indiana. I watched this video over and over not knowing why I loved it SO MUCH.. then I got into ASMR and realized you were my first! Is it healthy for your skin to use makeup that you've collected for years, or do you not intend to use makeup that you've had since "back in the day" and just keep it for collection sake? Do you keep expiration dates in mind or does it not matter? Also, how do you keep older products sanitary? Often times bacteria can grow and cause breakouts. Just curious. some of my things are pretty old. My skin is strong, or well.. I dont what you call it, when it isn't sensitive at all? :| But it dosn't react on it. It's just like "Old shit? Better than no shit, know what I'm saying?"

so any professional make up artist will have multiple brushes to use on her clients and will wash them after a day's work. To keep your make up clean you can use a slate instead of dipping your brush or if you do dip your brush then there are alcohol based sprays to keep shadows clean.

From what I understand, liquid products expire a lot faster. And me personally, how the product is packaged is a factor to how long I keep it, like if it's a pump I'm more likely to keep it a big longer as opposed to a tub, for example. But the 'expiration' dates given is a rough guideline.

Powders actually can stay for a very long time, past the expiration dates. As far as bacteria and breakouts, the main cause of that is actually the brushes. If you are diligent with cleaning your brushes, you should be fine with older makeup really :)
