Yes to the eyeshadow declutter! 😊 I don’t actually wear makeup, but I’m going to pan nail polishes this year. I’ve been preferring gel polishes lately so I’d like to slowly phaze out my regular polishes and switch to gel. I had around 45-50 regular nail polishes I believe, but I’ve decluttered a bunch that were simply impossible to paint my nails with anymore so I’m down to 35. I haven’t bought a new nail polish in ~4 years, so that speaks to how old they are 😅 I did notice when going through them that the majority of my bottles are half empty or less, so while it feels overwhelming I know alot of the polishes have maybe two-three manicures left in them. I won’t count base and top coats though, because I will obviously have to repurchase those if I’m tryna finish 35 nail polishes lol

Hello! So fun to see your make up inventory and aspire to be more sustainable with my purchases. (Currently out numbers you in every category unfortunately) I just wanted to say that I also love vanilla and patchouli and my fave perfume is Lord of Misrule by lush. They have a solid version and a spray. I like both of them but I prefer the solid because it is a more delicate fragrance. It has vanilla, patchouli and tonka. It’s delicious! Obviously you don’t have to go out and buy more stuff since the point is to be more realistic in purchasing and using, but I think it’s worth a sniff! 💕

You have such realistic numbers! I love it. I have 5 foundations, my two favorite prestige foundations and three drug store foundations. I typically only have 3 foundations, but since my HG drugstore was discontinued I’ve been trying to find a new favorite “everyday” (drugstore) foundation. Foundations are just… tough. I technically only have 3 highlighters. One cream, one powder, one loose… I guess I have a blushlighter too.. but I consider it a blush. I use to have a jillion, but I like having a pared down highlight collection. I’m so impressed you only have 2. With most makeup products I like habit < 5. With the only exceptions being eyeshadows, eyeliners, and blushes. Hopefully I’ll be there soon.
