Kathleen you're definitely my favorite youtubers and it is partly because you are "still normal", i mean down to earth in the way that you still realize when products are expensive, i feel like many youtubers i used to watch became a bit "snobbish" in the products they used, presenting only high end stuffs without realizing that even if it is good the prices are outrageous. Your famous "Das expensive!" is the proof that you are aware of the cost of these products for lamda people who don't receive free products or who can't spend so much on cosmetics. Thank you for still caring! I really appreciate the person you are, stay the same, you're awesome and i'm very proud of your success, you deserve it! love this series idea, but I would also love to see a video on how to use a contour vs a bronzer.....i get how to contour but I don't really understand what to do with a bronzer and how it is different. Love you!

You can use your bronzer before or after contouring just to warm up the face. It goes in the same spots as your contour just not as precise of an application. You can even bring bronzer down your neck.

I don't think you should be worried about the lip product video being too long Kathleen. I'd love to see it. Maybe it could be split into categories? Like, lipsticks (they can be split into matte, satin etc, if there are too many), glosses, stains etc. That might make the video lengths more manageable? x

Fun fact about the Nars contour kit, I was so lucky enough to have a training session with a fella who works for Francois Nars as a makeup artist, and he said that the lighter shade was created to diffuse any harsh lines that were created with your contour shade. So you can use it under your eyes as a highlight, or as a product to smooth out any harsh lines so soften the contour :) Hope I helped x

taylor.d beauty Yes! I went to one of the Mecca Cosmetica events where they had the Nars team and they explained this. I bought Paloma too. I use it as a contour/blush so it sits a bit lower then a normal blush but not as precisely in the hollow as a contour and my face just looks so sculpted. Only for dramatic looks though, definitely not an everyday thing.

Paloma Nars contour duo is life! The cream shade is also fab as a nothing colour to blend eyeshadow colours and it's also amazing to set your eyeshadow primer!

Mac Refined Gold was the first bronzer I ever used and was the only one I used for years. It is still one of my favorites, but no one talks about it! Glad to hear you love it too! My favorite bronzer right now is the new Hourglass luminous bronze light. It blends so beautifully and give such a pretty beach glow. I love this series. Don't stop doing it!

I have both of them and I love them. There isn't a certain way to use them it's just a bronzer with a tiny blush inside. The Ross and Rachel one has a beautiful blue based pink blush with a medium golden bronzer and the Carrie and big one has a light coral orange blush with a light golden bronzer. You could definitely mix the blush and bronzer and sweep it on your cheeks or use them separately.

Brooke Chiasson they focus on length bc there's a KZbin algorithm for maximum views. Most ppl prefer videos around the 10minute mark and that's why you'll find most videos around 8-12mins. Also it makes a difference for monetizing. And since it's their career and how they make money, they have to try and use the algorithm to their advantage.

i understand that youtubers have a lot of makeup because they review it, get sent stuff etc but i do worry that their younger viewers will feel inadequate if they don't have the same amount or the high end stuff ya know. i feel like instead of the usual disclaimer, maybe you should make a video dedicated to your younger audience telling them how much makeup you used to have/how much makeup a normal person needs/the products you started off with and kind of let them know that it is 100% okay to not have a room or even drawer full of makeup. idk that's just my two cents lol.
