I’m not a chocolate lover but my husband sure is. Hershey’s is definitely the best coco. I used white milk in my coco and not water. My husband loves it thanks for sharing!

Mamaw I too am looking at knee surgery, I keep putting it off, I’m alone and worry about needed someone here with me afterwards. I use walmart delivery service and ingles pick up. These bad arthritic knees do make a difference in your life. Praying for you.

my daughter had the surgery...she came home and a therapist went to her house every day for a few weeks. The therapist helped her walk...however, if you are alone, you will be offered going to a rehab in a nursing home where you will have therapy every day...insurance covers it.

I’ve never made hot chocolate with water except for the instant kind. I make it like you did except no water milk only. I use Aldi’s cocoa and have no complaints. Cocoa is cocoa.

I only use milk, no water. Right now I have Hersheys...I buy what is on sale...just to save money so that I can buy eggs. On Fri. a doz. brown eggs at WALMART was 7.21. I like brown, cage free, organic, but they are 9.00 a doz. Hard to believe.

Water makes it too thin. Milk is best and if you do use evaporated milk add less water than you did. 😊❤ love to you all.🙏🏼✝️💜

Knee surgery is a lot better nowadays. Will have to have physical therapy after. Can send a therapist to your house.

If your going to make the commitment to do a knee replacement, remember it's going to be a tough recovery. I'm 64. It's been 4months and I still have pain and numbness. You have to totally commit to 20 weeks of therapy ❤

I had two knees done at the same time. I don’t recommend that I would do only one knee at a time with the same doctor.

The surgery will improve your knee provided you get therapy afterwards. Arthritis will be cut out and the replacement will help if your cartlidge is gone. You need someone to help you and get a walker and cane. Ice will help pain. My best wishes on your operation.

Yes it sure does take a lot more with the off brands of coaco I found that out last winter when I made hot chocolate & didn’t have Hershey brand & had to use probably 3 times more than Hershey

Mawmaw see if you can’t get synthetic cartilage in your knees. Recovery time is much less and it replaces the cartilage. Love your coco recipe. But I always swore I’d not use water like my mom did, so I use 1/2 n 1/2. 💖
