Thats a good idea and I will certainly try that. I think she only put it in the measuring cups because the subscribers asked her to measure stuff out.Normally she just guesstimates and probably wouldn't have that issue if she did so here. Personally I think its a silly request because it just makes it so she has to do more work/wash more dishes. I don't see why she can't just tell us veiwers the exact measurements needed while still guesstimating those measurements without measuring cups. Not sure why they want to see everything measured out. I love the way she cooks and guesses her measurements just like my own mother did.

Margaret, your story reminded me of a time when I was first married. My husband and I married right after high school. He went in the Air Force, and we had moved to his station far away from our families, so we had no family to watch our little one when he came along. I went to work in the evenings at a Dairy Queen and I had made a pitcher of sweet tea before work and left it out on the counter. I told my husband to put it in the fridge when it cooled. Well, when I came home that night, our little toddler had pulled that pitcher down and spilled it all over our kitchen tile floor. My husband tried to clean it up by using a mop and mopping the tea out all over the floor instead of trying to keep it to one spot. I had to mop that floor about 5 times to get all the sticky sugar up. Oh, those old times seem terrible when they're happening sometimes, but they're good memories when we're old. My mom made Christmas cookies every year. She said that before I was born she decided to do something that we'd always remember about Christmas, so every year we made six or seven different kinds of cookies (we each had our favorite). Her whole life was cooking delicious homemade down home recipes & reading her Bible to me everyday as she was cooking like y’all do. We are born & raised in texas. My husband & I been married 35 yrs and we have combined 5 kids . as a blended family. They are all grown & married now. We have 18 grandkids. My husband bday is also august 19 like your mamaw And one of our son in law’s bday is September 14 like you. I just love watching y’all’s cooking show. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding Corey. Thank you Mrs. Margaret for feeding our soul with God’s love while feeding our body with delicious recipes. I have no doubt the Lord put your show straight to my path. God bless you both and your family. I was diagnosed with uterine cancer in October 2022, had surgery April 2023. Now doing 25 radiation treatments. 5 days week for 6 weeks. Got one week to go. Since those treatments make me extremely tired. I watch cooking stuff daily. To take my mind off not being able to have energy to do my normal stuff. Dr said it will take 6-8 weeks after radiation treatments are over to start getting my strength back physically. & I believe your cooking show was gods plan on uplifting me each day with the Lords word along with cooking videos .
