Sisi Lenova it was arranged by my parents. Once they checked and were happy with him and his family and background, then he came to meet me in a family environment. We spoke with an adult present. The process took a few months but the next time I met him was when we had our nikah. We didn’t officially live together for another couple of months but he car to visit and we spoke on the phone. Alhamdulillah, we have been blessed to be together now for 22 years. We still go out to dinner and have been away on holidays whilst our family took care of our children, as well as family holidays. As Maryam said, after marriage the romance and love are secure and more pure, Alhamdulillah.

Sisi Lenova ifs and buts can always occur and do. Of course there was an element of fear of the unknown, but I was reassured that if things didn’t work out my parents would always be there. The process took 5 months and everything he’d said was checked out by various members of my family. Above all was my faith and trust in Allah. Don’t get me wrong, it hasn’t always been plain sailing, we’ve had our fair share of ups and downs. I don’t think it’s more or less than any other relationship, regardless of how people met. Alhamdulillah Allah has always blessed us both with understanding and forgiveness.

Honestly you got me emotional. Before this video i watched the "change of heart video" and it really touched me. Just how you're thinking about your Aakirah and the responsibility you have over your actions and how you influence your viewers. I can't remeber the exact words so forgive me for paraphrasing but you said something along the lines of " Imagine Allah guides you and you go back to your old ways and he guides you again and you turn again but Allah doesn't guide you again" sorry i wrote that not exactly how you said it but it really touched me. Ive been struggling with giving up music for awhile and for the most parts im good but after a while i start listening to music and then Allah helps me give it up and I'm just on this roller coaster so that line really touched me. I never really watched you in the past but i have a feeling i will watch your video from now on. By the way I'm turning 28 in August so not just little girls watching you. I'm an atheist living in a christian country. I could never imagine myself getting married to someone I have not dated for *at least* a couple of years first. And still, there is nothing better than getting to know other people's cultures and how people achieve happiness in ways different than mine. I'm happy for you and I hope you and your husband are always happy and in love. I seriously don't understand why people hate traditions they wouldn't personally follow. Sure, I wouldn't, so what? You did and you're happy. That's all that matters.

I also had a quick marriage after 3/4 months of meeting and We had a very simple Nikah, it was literally in my living room with a few witnesses and a tray of Bakhlava on the table 😄 that’s what we wanted though, simple and Sunnah ❤️ I still remember 2 years ago going through KZbin/insta Hijabis and unfollowing all of them because they were pulling me away from Deen, and SubhanAllah I saw your change of heart video and I was like whaaaattttttt!
