@@j2daoeGaming My top five games of all time currently are (in no particular order): Fire Emblem Awakening, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy Seven remaster, Resident Evil and Animal Crossing New Horizons. If we're sticking with the switch, alongside Animal Crossing and Resident Evil it would be: Links Awakening, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Collection. Is it cheating picking the pixel remaster because it's actually six games? No, because it's my list and that's what I pick. LOL 🤣

@@j2daoeGaming ya, it's definitely quite the time suck but it will always have a special place in my heart. I don't devote the same hours into it as I did back in the day but dipping into classic mode and hitting up a few quests just brings me back. It's definitely hard to separate the nostalgia intertwined with that game for me so it's not necessarily a game I'd recommend any more to most people but I always have fun when I do revisit.

Fantastic collection. I love collecting for the Nintendo switch but had to slow down & got overly picky with what i wanted to keep.. so i just pickup games that i know i will enjoy & finish.. my collection is full of expensive or kinda obscure stuff like Salt & sanctuary, Blasphemous limited Run, Enclave HD, Heaven Dust collection, Project warlock, Friends of Ringo ishikawa, Infernax, onimusha warlords, No place for bravery, Into The Breach, Loop Hero, Ruiner, Cathedral & A Robot Named Fight!! 😅 Most people wouldn't know about half the games i get for the switch lol

Yeah, i pre ordered that myself so i can have 2 on physical too. Luckily i kept the first Wargroove sealed cause i haven’t had a chance to play it so it sells for a tad more, but not like it used to. Thats ok though, i really love that they’re doing this physical copy so i can have both in cart.

You bargain hunt like I do. I found wargroove, Dead cells game of the year edition, and Moonlighter at GameStop. All on sale at a preowned buy two get one free sale. They have the cases and insert stuff to all three games. I think I paid $45 if I remember correctly

I thought about collecting for switch but the third party stuff takes too much of a hit to play it on switch (even when factoring in the convenience of portability) I pretty much only own switch exclusives physically

Good point, yeah for my life right now portability is king so i'm wiling to take the graphical hit so long as it doesn't impede too much on the gameplay. But if i didn't have to be portable as much i definitely would choose the next gen ports.

Switch cartridges will most definitely outlast actual Switch system issues such as with the internal memory. But even that will be solved by enthusiasts that still want to play Switch games on original hardware. I wouldn't worry about your cartridges dying unless you store them in terrible conditions such as high humidity or extreme temperatures.
