I had a BKP Aftermath set and then SD Alpha/Omega set on my Regius 7 but I recently put a set of Mojotone PW Hornets and the lead tone on it has this stratty spank. It's awesome. I feel like the Regius has a neutral tone and pickups reeally make a noticable difference.

Hi. Thank you for the video. I have a question and would appreciate your input. Your guitar's finish is satin. I like the satin finish on Mayos, but I am worried that it may turn glossy over time. However your guitar looks great, despite the age. Is there some special cleaning technique, or is it just the finish being so resilient?

S T the finish is great. No special cleaning. Only being careful. And I use it, so if it get a bit dameged is fine. (Nothing major tho) BUT, I definitely would get natural over gloss all day long. Way more resonant and “real” ☺️

@@ThomasCalvi thank you very much for your response. I have a regius with a beautiful gloss finish and was eyeing a duvell in satin. I don't mind bumps, etc. but I just hate it when matt turns glossy. This is very reassuring!

Can you describe the neck to me please? Thank you so much for your video about this amazing guitar. What I don’t like is a neck which is super thin D shape. I like a neck with just a bit of meat to it like a classic modern style American Stratocaster or Tele neck. Not a baseball bat like a Gibson but somewhere in the middle. Curious about getting a Regius. Thanks again!!! Great playing also.

I did sell 2 ESPs to buy it ahaha no regets tho. My mayo is a keeper for life. I only miss having an Esp Sv o Laiho like to good old days 😇
