Have you ever used elastomeric caulk to fix a mower seat? I used jd yellow and put the caulk in a pail and spray paint in it and stirred it till it was acceptable color and filled in the cracks in a seat and covered the whole thing.. been 5 months since I did it a d it looks good still flexible as the day It dried. If you got a bad seat try it. 6 bucks for a tube of caulk and 7 bucks foe a can of paint can't buy a seat even ratted out for that.
