Mr. Fasty. What a beautifully honest, and bloody-well important video that was! I listened with intent to the whole thing. You're exactly right. Genuinely, the freedom of a bike, no matter what colour, size or shape, really does do wonders for one's mind and soul. Thank you for making the effort to go back out and re-film this after your camera let you down. Sometimes, these things are a blessing in disguise. I wish you all the very best with your channel, and with your health. You Sir, are a top bloke! Drop me a msg if you're down my way. Breakfast's on me. RV

Hi Richy. Thank you for your kind words. Its kind of funny in a way, you passed me a few times at the weekender and I wanted to say hello but you looked busy. In fact the only time I saw you sit down was at Teapots brew time. Anyway I had an awesome time with you all and will be returning next year for sure. Motorbikes. It was your channel and maybe a couple of others that inspired me to make my channel. Especially your trip to Scotland in the winter, I was like shouting at my monitor saying "why you riding on ice and snow for, theres gonna be trouble". Its strange but you literally live the moment with the person making the video. I also think that because you did it on your own inspired me in a way. I probably thought "if he can do it, so can I". So I did, passed my test in Derby last October, bought the wrong bike (GSXR750) because it looked pretty, sold that 3 months ago and bought a S1000XR and done 3k miles already. I haven't ventured far yet but there are plans in the works for a big trip or 2 next year. Also, thank you for your offer of breakfast. I am down Derbyshire quite often so I will drop you a message and arrange to meet you somewhere for a brew. p.s you don't need to buy me breakfast but I will gladly buy a brew. Anyway thank you again for you comments, it is very very much appreciated.

Hi Ash. Thank you. Yes I was there. I was camped under the tree near the entrance. mine was the only Tepee tent in that area. Was a proper good weekend. really enjoyed it. Been out again today, only got home an hour ago. totally destresses me.

Total respect mate. Been there. Talking, talking and more talking works wonders. We nearly lost our eldest lad at 4 weeks old to meningitis, sent me wappy. He's 20 now but those days were dark. Donna was amazing and sometimes feel bad for putting it on her to carry but that's what a teams for and it kinda makes you stronger. We just try and live life to the full and enjoy meeting people. 👍👍👍

Thanks buddy. Sorry to hear about your lad. I sometimes think these things are ment to be for some strange reason. I can also relate to your situation (in a way) but that is too personal to go on YT. My lad is 19 now all grown up. Trying to find his feet in this crazy world but couldn't ask for a better son. As they say "apple of my eye" holds true. Hope to catch you out on the black stuff so we can have a chin wag sometime. All the best mate.

Had this on my "watch later" list for a while. It's brave of you to bring up this subject and talk about your own history. It shouldn't be, we should all be more comfortable opening up and talking about it. But it's the way we've been brought up to be the dependable ones. £100 to tell me I'm messed up? I tell myself that for free into the mirror every morning 🤣 Sometimes talking to a total stranger on the interwebs can also help. Best wishes for you, buddy.

Way to share Fasty! Talking is always the right answer. I think you hit it on the nose that anxiety and discomfort in social settings is NORMAL. Everyone experiences it, the key is to become comfortable with being uncomfortable. Sounds dumb but I do always think that labeling something as bad (anxiety etc) is wrongfully labeling it. Life is a practice, some just hide it better than others. And help looks different for every person. For one it might be a chat in council office, for others its some medical aids, others its a beautiful ride in the peak. Boredom is also something to keep in mind, we forget quickly in this day and age of insta and youtube that everyone else aren’t ALWAYS doing things. It just “looks” like it. We are quick to feel unaccomplished or wasted because of it. Cheers mate!

You welcome buddy. I think the key is to find the thing that works for you and stick at that until you get yourself into a good space. Yes social media is as fake as the 9 O'clock news more often than not. Or i should say its easy to hide mood on social media. or personality. Thanks for the great comment mate.

Never knew this bud, I’m happy to see your life has turned around for the better, this video just popped up tonight in recommended vids to watch, I think it’s because I’m doing a lot to do with Mental Health Motorbike, every word you have said is spot on, it’s a similar story with me, mostly childhood trauma and 2 bad marriages that have caused a total breakdown of my mental health, life is better but still needs improvement, great heartfelt video bud 👍🏻

You're lucky to live in one of my favourite areas in England, getting out and doing something is one of the best things you can do, when you get home you get a sense of achievement, walking works for me in the winter when it is too cold for the bike.

@@FastyRides Blimey that's me too, off to the local co-op for my sugar addiction, picked up a chocolate trifle yesterday as it was reduced in price :) It was the Mytholmroyd co-op during my couple of weeks in Cragg Vale last year, a summer weakness of mine I really need to break, the sugar addiction that is.
