Wow! I’ve never known anyone who had a Metallica collection almost exactly like mine! I was in high school from 86-90 and got into Metallica in 84. RTL was one of my first albums ever purchased. When I was in high school, Metallica was a bunch of nobody’s, and only myself and about four others in my High School even knew who these guys were. I was the only one who wore a Metallica patched up Jean jacket every day. I used to collect rare Metallica albums back then. I still have my collection stored away somewhere (Different colored vinyl albums of Creeping Death & Jump in the Fire as well as picture discs, bootleg concert recordings, interview picture discs, double LP’s, etc). I remember When AJFA came out, we had about 10-15 more students in the school that suddenly became fans. I knew things would never be the same from that point on. Once they hit the mainstream and became popular (pretty much from 1990 and on), I pretty much lost interest, as the nostalgia of being in that small exclusive club of fans was gone. BTW, I also have that “Death mission “ album and “Assassin” too.

That Whiplash 12" was released on 01/23/1984 which happens to be the very same day I was born (also the day MJ's Thriller single dropped). I’ve got multiple vinyl colors of Creeping Death... Red, Blue, Green, Gold, clear/white, black, and picture disc). I also have the red Jump in the Fire as well as the black one and shaped picture disc. Also lots of various bootleg concerts from them as well, double LP’s and the kill em all , RTL snd MOP picture discs. ... all purchased back in the 80s.

I paid next to nothing for a Kill'em All first press silver label a few years ago. At the time I didn't know what it was, someone sold me a stack of Metallica LPs for $115. Kill, Master, Justice, Load and Harvester of Sorrow 12 inch single.

Killer collection you have so much cool stuff don't down play it man all that stuff is killer. I regret not buying the LPs when the CD craz hit I bought Justice on CD and after so I would love to find 1st press of Justice, Black and others after. I have a few 12" singles which I think you showed wish I snagged up more. I have been picking up some bootlegs which have been cool. I did sell some 7' and 12" singles which I regret big time. I came into Metallica after Lighting but missed the Megaforce releases so mine were right when Electra took over. Great items man !!!!-VK.......I posted a link to your channel in a VC metal group the other day so hopefully you get some more subs from it.

nice collection - I bought everything from back in the day on cassette and then CD except for the One 7" 45RPM... wish I was still buying vinyl back then...got most of their albums on vinyl now but they're all re-releases except for the Hardwired, Justice and Lightning Box Sets (wish I bought Kill Em All and Master Box Sets before they sold out).... also got a bottle of Blackened Whiskey

I was one of those guys who was into Metallica back in the 80s and pretty much dropped them once they became popular (from about 1990 onward). That said, I used to collect rare Metallica albums back in the 80s when I was in high school. I have about 7 or 8 different Creeping Death EPs (all different colored vinyl) a red Jump in the Fire, black one and picture discs of each as well. Double LP’s, bootleg concerts, etc. all purchased back in the 80s when I was in high school (before they got popular). That said, I haven’t been into them since back in those days. I just recently learned about these Walmart “re-issues” . The ones I have are all purchased back in the 80s.
