Ada had no business lying to her Daughters the grandmother doesn’t have any love for the girls. I was lied to about my grandma and when I tried to hug her she shoved me down and told me there’s nothing I could do to make her love me if anything to bade your not dead. So please never lye to children about love from anyone. It’s heartbreaking but the truth is the best.

Truth of the matter is that your grandmother was a rotten woman and unworthy to deserve any of your love at all. It's such a great wrong to say such things to a child, and then later regret it. But the damage is already done; thus nothing can change after saying that to someone that try to give their love to you. In the end, she was a pathetic, selfish woman who ended up being denied the love that you gave to someone else, instead.

I'm sorry to hear that it was clear that just like Ada's mother in law your grandmother only loved boys and wanted your parents to have one its sad that she didn't see that you we're sad and she didn't care that that you were trying to be nice and loved her while she hated you and sure that she did regret later just like the ex mother in law but its clear its too late now. I think your parents try to reassure you that your grandmother would change her mind but she show them the opposite showing that she will never change and that you will never win her love, its sad but like I say I am sure she did regret if I am wrong and she does not well its a loss case.

The 'husband' is less than useless. He wouldn't protect his pregnant wife, then continued to do the same with his daughters. She should have ditched that disgusting group and taken her daughters somewhere they could all thrive. This is still a modern era~~it may be difficult for a woman to leave, but it's FAR from impossible.

I thought it was Middle Eastern culture that girls were just as important as boys because it would be the girls that raised you to Heaven. I remember hearing that somewhere. I also remember that they say that a family needs boys to produce heirs and continue the family name, and girls to help care for you in your old age

To me BOTH are important you can't have one without the other. But in the case of this story Kareem should have put his foot down and set some boundaries how can anyone allow their own mother to mistreat their wife and children. I don't care if it was her house she had no right to mistreat family like that

I agree there are times in which you need to step up and set some boundaries even if they're family. The mother-in-law had no right to treat them like that a real man would step up and defend his wife and children no matter who that person is who's putting them down

The desire to have male heirs is No excuse to belittle and enslave Ada in the household... You should not stay where you are not loved or wanted. Ada should have stood up to his wife. Marium is spoiled and arrogant by her superior treatment by the Mil... Getting out is the Best thing to do in this Toxic household....Being ignored is also a form of Abuse.... Karim needs to stand on his Own two feet and protect his wife and daughter's....

This story is a classic example of love overwriting rational thought or common sense, Ada loved Kareem so she put up with his mother’s toxic behavior…Kareem loved his family so he somewhat turned a blind eye to his mother’s abuse until ultimately that abuse was also directed towards his and Ada’s daughters leading to them finally moving out for the sake of children, whom they both loved. 6:42

Don't you think the animators need to add MIL's mustache or at least a shadow on her chin????? I have never encountered or heard of the demand these MILs make in your stories, nor do I know any women who would accept the abuse from the MIL or the husbands. Women need to get education to break these cycles.
