Listening in 2024. 🙌 This is the plug! If you was doing something and this song comes on, you just have to stop and give this song all your attention; get down with this praise song. The words, omg.. speaks volumes. I be jammin and praising!! What a blessing! 🙏♥

Looking over my life… reminiscing on my College Days and singing this song in the choir (NBC at NIU). I have no regrets for the decision I made back then in 1996. I made my mind up not to turn back. Yes I’m still happy in 2024. No turning back. Yes I’m still happy in 2024 cuz I’m on the right track. 🙌🏽

90’s Gospel music was the last of the greatest Gospel music era. Listening to this years later brings back childhood church memories.
@Jamie0422-kv3bx5 ай бұрын
@j.renette609: well our parents thought their time was last era of great gospel music (we tend to have short memories in this country)and that the 90s was too worldly is what I remember, and now we're saying the same thing about our time in the 90s. Our kids are saying the same thing about their time now (and we know that some crap)and their kids will be saying the same thing while in the meantime the spiritually of gospel music will continue to be lost and losing ground unless their's a significant change made in the culture or scraped all together, and started over (like a new heaven and earth)

Sheesh this band is killing! Old school musicians know it's more important that the band sound as one than to purposefully outshine and one up eachother. You could have a band full of expert celebrity musicians put them together and they still wouldn't sound 1/4 as good as this one! All facts...

Though I can understand your point, take a look at how far gospel music as went. Much of what's out there is so worldly, where's the difference? God said for us to be IN the world but not OF the world. We are suppose to show a difference and the gospel music industry is following behind the world so much, how can you really see Jesus? Its not about being judgmental but rather discerning the spirits. We have to know the difference. God bless!
