I like the ideas you bring up here using the old KISS keep it simple....More time on the pond fishing and less time in the shop making fancy mod's. You have given me some great ideas for my little pond boat. Thanks

Great mods. I'd love to see close ups of the rod strap system to better understand the parts you used, and I'd love a better look at that dolly too! Smart upgrades to your boat.

Good job buddy…nice and clean, I have a pelican bass raider and also didn’t wanna drill holes in the boat. I have my transducer on the trolling motor, and build myself a floating casting deck that can’t shift around as 2x4’s secure the deck to the side and front wall. It isn’t a big flashy bass boat but it allows me to be out in the water and off the banks the last 2 years. Love these small boats!!! All the best

You did a wonderful job. I am just starting with a similar boat. You ideas helped ease the pain of moving my boat around. Thank you so much.

I really like all the space saving and that you came up with ways around drilling through the boat a bunch. Nice setup.

You did a great job. I was looking for a dolly to pull mine couple hundred yards to get to water and the wheels are perfect. Could you add a third wheel in front like a tee to pull easier? I like the rod straps a nd anchor as well.

please show how you made the dolly

Me likes! I don't like sitting in a float tube (fishcat) Been on the lookout for a 10' Johnboat or something just like your vessel. I also like how its not burning $$ just sitting there. Sweet!

I just found this and I like how you are doing it. I bet every time you take it out you will want to do or redo somthing just like kayaks you find somthing different every trip I am just starting on mine so I need to start taking pis
@breakintips98968 жыл бұрын
thanks brother.... it's very similar to kayak mods. dealing with limited space forces you to utilize and simplify what most people take for granted. the key for me is to try to make mods without making any new holes in the boat. good luck with your journey, and stay tuned! I'll have more videos soon.

Great video, i bought a used one that looks like it is about same year as yours (they changed). Was wondering if yours came prewired, it appears your battery is in back but troller in front. I have no wiring and no access to inside the hull. Have you seen anyone put there own access holes and if wire can be snaked thru front to back to hide wires? thanks in advance...ken on the delta CA

awesome job... on your bungee cord and brackets I'm just getting into freshwater fishing and I'm considering one of these bass hopper boats even though I'm only looking for trout... the 2016 model seems nice, if I rigged it up kind of like yours... Thanks for sharing the info. One question what is the max thrust motor you recommend for this guy? is 36lbs of thrust too small? Have you considered drilling it and making rod holders?
@breakintips98968 жыл бұрын
36 should be plenty. your probably fishing current . the higher the better... best of luck

Did u permanently mount the wheels to the boat or does it come off after u put the boat in the water?! Pretty dope set up u have there!

They come apart. just to get it to the water
@illduitmyself8 жыл бұрын
but after in water what do you do with cart? how do you secure it? would be cool to permanize small wheels on it to just put in and out of water without much drag

very nice, it gave me some ideas for mine. my question is how sabble are those little boats? I have a old 12ft valco like 1960 that i removed the back bench,and i use it for the same thing,bur i wonder if those are more sabble to stand up in.
@breakintips98968 жыл бұрын
very. it's all about comfortability...bigger = more stable, but gaining advantage vs shore.... priceless

Uncle Buck's Pond Prowler, sold at Bass Pro Shop, but you won't find it new in the 9 foot model. They make a 10 footer, or maybe you can find a used 9'.

breakin tips can you show how you made the dolly? These boats are too heavy for one guy to handle if you're more than fifty yards or so away from the water.
