Hi Ghazzy, I greatly admire what you do for the community and the sheer volume of high-quality builds you contribute to the Minion enthusiasts. However, I must say that Chromino's build, Hoa, as a Guardian, Necromancer, or Pathfinder, is truly an outstanding build. I'm a bit puzzled by the D rating. It's a complex and flexible build that can be played in various ways, and in the endgame, with Aegis and CI, one becomes nearly invincible. I don't intend to change your rating or opinion, but I felt this needed to be said. Best regards and have a fantastic league start!

I solved the AI issue for Dancing Dervish many leagues ago just by using multiple Predator gems. Mark Prey can be cast without line of sight as well. It's still one of, if not THE weakest minion, but it's been fun enough that this will be my 17th league in a row playing in.

New to minions here, so take that with a gain of salt. I tried Absolution, and personally thought it was more C or D tier--struggle to clear 4 voidstones without significant investment. The insta-gibs, especially around any lightning dmg., was annoying AF. Also, felt like the build was pretty Zdps without a crazy expensive helm to convert phys to lightning dmg.

I'm leaning Popcorn SRS of Enormity as a starter in SSF. It's gonna deal insane damage on basically a naked character up until at least yellow maps.

@@BradMD9 There are so few Ascendancy passives that directly benefit popcorn SRS, even with guaranteed crits. It's a really funky build to scale, it's gonna be cool. I tried the crit version very briefly in HC Crucible but I died just after it came online so I barely got to play it properly.

Ice golems of the horde, in a pledge of hands staff. Many golems, rapid firing thier barrages, snipers mark ane volley support. EVERYTHING FREEZES! Mercenary gloves to spread aniper mark around packs. BEAUTIFUL sight!

The spectres have been trickling into standard league and I have decked out my legacy carrion minion army/zoomancer. It is sim30, Uber and midrange deep delver 600+. Some zoomancers in league are delving 1000+. The total offense and defensive value combined with socket pressure relief is helping a lot. Their auras can’t be bricked by map mods so I think the aura or permabuff spectres can really produce S and A tier minion builds.

Absolution being squishy is because you always link it to use doryani's, what do you think it would be rated compared to ele srs if you don't even touch doryanis? HC ssf here I wouldn't put that on ever.

Golems of Hordes loose their buff and carrion also looses its 5% more damage per nearby minion, hard to say which are really better... If you want to keep the buff you just loose 1 golem thanks to anima stone nerf. If you go hordes you loose a multiplier and the buff but get total 1more golem.... Overall feels like a golem nerf -.-

Kinda feeling like making a golemancer with reapers, they eat the golems and get rezzed for healing and buffs while the summoned recently clusters/jewels keep on refreshing as reapers get jealous that one golem does more than all three of them. Still leaning towards my usual soulwrest combo and spectres though.

Starting guardian Zombie father build. Will probably invest a bit less than he did. For example I will leave Animate guardian with his dual wield setup instead of a kingmaker, will go for +2chest instead of +3 and probably for +2 on all other pieces instead of more expensive+4 options. After I get some currency going, I will get on some delve pushing build, mana stackers look juicy, maybe something else. The best thing is that I don't even need to level a new character. If zombie father is not going to work I will spec into golems or SRS, both a fairly cheap for medium budget. Have a good league start everyone!

i am filthy uneducated layman casual when it comes to minion builds. i've tried a bit of poison srs, then some CoCommand AW, then i tried BAMA. Technically speaking BAMA is something i'd love to play, but what i learned and i cannot stress it enough, i am 100% dead serious: this build is not only janky, but expensive as duck. With 5-10d budget you can make quite successful SRS build. with 5-10d you can barely make a basic BA

only issue with pr3vie is that he makes no guides. talk to him if you can and get him to at least talk about his thoughts and mindset when making design decisions for the build. I found his channel a few leagues back as he was the only one doing reaper and bama.

I don't like how minions are handled in PoE over all, but *REALLY HATE* how some of these minions eat items instead of having some kind of persistent gear slots for them Minions in PoE is babysitter simulator (same with D4 and they is why no one plays it in D4, i'm surprised anyone plays it in PoE)

I was curious to see what your take on Soulwrest was, since I wanted to do a Guardian version of it for league start, using Triad Grip for ele conversion. I'll probably play it as Absolution until I can get Soulwrest, and if that feels good enough I might continue it as Absolution, especially since there was no real change to Summon Phantasm and the new Absolution transfigured gem was interesting.

yeah, its S tier for sure, problem is its not really league startable, you need to play with something else until you can afford to switch, but it has best scaling out of all srs versions. Also i dont agree with guardian being not tanky, it all depends on your approach, you can scale max block, spell supression + run another chest than fleshcrafter (Fourth Vow + divine flesh, Lightning coil) and be ridicoulously tanky.

I would go with popcorn SRS Necro because it is a great build that does not require a lot plus if you get a few lucky drops then you can switch to poison.

man dancing dervish is by far my favorite minion build and easily top 5 builds of all time for me, sad to see what they did with the ai. they could literally just revert the change too and it would be fine. but noo, lets not revert it cause that would mean admitting that we fucked up. or fix the new one. but that would take time out of their day that they would rather use on coming with ways to nerf cyclone and molten strike. surprised boneshatter is still allowed to exist, since its a halfway viable melee build. maybe they should nerf it a bit and put the power towards tornado shot, a very underrated and underused skill.

27:00 we lose the anima jewel set to gain the extra golems on 'horde' gems (to get same amount overall), so question then, is that worth losing the minion buffs carrion golem provided? since the horde golems no longer provide the "golem effect" buffs. I never looked into the elemental ones, but did use stone/carrion golems at times for their effects.

well, one thing to note from the FAQ GGG posted.. It sets your total golems to 3. Meaning, if you run a normal stone golem gem and a fire golem hordes gem, you could have 1 regular stone golem and 2 fire golems, so you'd still get the stone golem buff then. Or any combo of 1-1-1, with 2 of them giving buffs and the 3rd being the hordes one.

Every league I use arakaali necro with 50d~60d invest I can get max dot 35.9m dps, I can beat all uber bosses. I think it should stay in S+ class

Why is noone talking about new SRS Enormity gem being used as popcorn ignite? Always crits means it always ignites, right? And always crits means Critical Strike Affliction Support gives it straight up 110% dot multi, right? Ignite prolif leaves burning circles on the ground so you do not realy care about 6 srs limit, right? Am I onto something here or am I dreaming it?

I just started POE last league aka Crucible League. Both crucible and ancestor i have played zoomancer through and through and 100% enjoy it and will probably stay my favorite minion build. im excited for this upcoming league especially with new damage specters and other things and cant wait to keep up my zoomancer track record xP
