To those of you that are scared off by the price of this diary, I always get the 18 month cheaper at the beginning of the year. I just got the 18 month version last week that started in July 2018 through Dec 2019 and they always sell them at half price at Barnes & Noble for $12.50. I use the 6 months worth of daily pages as extra notes pages.

I bought one for journaling too and personally, for its price, I don't think it's worth it, there are a lot of other options out there who have much better quality at the same price or even lower. But one thing that I really enjoy about Moleskine is the variety of journal type they have and they also do a lot of collaboration.

I started one of these and I'm filling it with old folk remedies for medical, planting crops, bunch of stuff from the farmer's almanac everything from using diatomaceous earth for killing insects to using potatoes for treating Burns and sunburns.

I've been using these daily planners for about 15 years now. I love the layout of the daily pages and the minimalist design. My only complaint is that the paper is pretty cheap. I use fountain pens and most of the inks that I like to use bleed through. Not to the point where the writing on the opposite side becomes unreadable, but it's very noticeable. The paper in their regular notebooks is much better so I wish that Moleskine would use that paper in the daily planner.

Yes Moleskine is really great notebooks! I use the watercolor kind a lot since I paint and also the sketchbooks they are really great! And then I have a pocket size in my purse always, for all those things that pops up when you least expect it, ideas or just feelings you want to write down. Right now I’m writing a whole novel a day almost, my mother recently passed away suddenly, so there is a lo of emotions to process. I really wonder how people who doesn’t journal process hard things in life?

I do the same type of thing, but I'm an introvert. Some people act like they don't care to process, like nothing bothers them. Or maybe they just hold it all inside until they snap over nothing. Some are extroverts and talk to others. I like seeing it on paper when it's for my eyes only. Then I can read back through it and gain insights. Lost my mother about 3 years ago now and I think it was just the last straw for me. Not doing well at all. A person may forget what I told them but my journal won't. When I found out a guy I dated in college had died, that affected me bad too because I hadn't known till I tried to look them up. I wrote a lot, like every memory of just how he was, nice things he did. I hope someone else loved him like I did.

Thanks for the video! It's really nice! I think is my third time watching it :) I also love the moleskine size because I write small and it's quite easier for me to read and write in narrower columns. For me the size and the soft cover are what make this my favourite notebook.

I love moleskin notebooks BUT I just cannot adjust to the Monday thru Sunday week layout. I’m in the USA and we typically have Sunday thru Saturday, therefore I like to mark pay weeks and stuff like that and most employers go by the Sunday thru Saturday pay weeks. I wish they had the option to have a Sunday thru Saturday planner 😕

I bought a 2021 Daily Diary hardcover (5"x8") for $15 at Staples online and they delivered it for free. The paper is surprisingly good, very slight ghosting and NO bleedthru using any type of pen especially fountain pens.

Your Lamy fountain pen doesn't lay down very much ink - you can see that in the way it writes. Unfortunately, with a really good fountain pen and quality, thick ink, you'll get *terrible* bleed-through. Like really, really bad. The way you have used it is really great but I much prefer Leuchtturm notebooks.

I really love Moleskine, the brand, the tons of different style notebooks, the different sizes, everything. Problem is: The paper quality really sucks, so I don't buy anything Moleskine any more. It's a shame, really.
