I moved to Florida 2 years ago without knowing a soul! I’m from Ohio and it was TIME! But I will say, it has taken the whole 2 years to find some of my very best friends and I have grown so much and have learned a lot about myself. I’ve truly learned how to take care of me first. This will be one of the most impactful journeys of your life. You may not figure things out right away and that’s okay but I promise you you’ll find your niche. I say give it at least a year! You can do anything for a year. I joined a gym, picked up a few part time jobs (I moved here for a FT job) and talked to anyone I met. I sat at restaurants alone and really learned to enjoy my company. Thank you for sharing your new adventure with us! I cannot wait to see how things are going for you a year from now! 💛

One thing I've heard that kinda resonates with me is "Think of the list of goals you expect yourself to accomplish in x amount of time. Now think of expecting that of your best friend or even a stranger. Probably not okay, everyone moves at their own pace, and so will you." idk maybe it will help even a little :)

It’s totally understandable to miss your mom when she leaves and have doubts in that moment, it’s hard moving away from what you know and out of your bubble. But in the long run you’ll have no regrets ! :) moving to a new place to have new experiences, is a wonderful thing that most people only dream about having. Give yourself time. Moving to a new place/new state is hard. It takes about a year to adjust. Don’t be hard on yourself. You are there for a reason. Remember how many lives you touch here, they need you there too. You are an amazing person and I’m so glad to see your journey.

I feel like with being a vlogger/influencer, it feels like your life has to be your job, maybe it will help to compartmentalize a bit? Set “work goals” but don’t carry those expectations into your everyday life. I think people assume when influencers do that that they’re “fake” when in reality, you’re entitled to life away from work. ❤️

queen ur job is to make content have fun making activities film them and u get ur content and for the rest of the time live life what u should be doing is focusing on u which is what ur doing so i dont think u missing anything we all need to time to reflect on ourselves. the biggest task / accomplishment one can have is self love/growth and if u like urself more than before than u are doing what u need to be doing we always want to know what to do / have a plan but honestly life itself is a surprise so just u do u and the rest will fall into place an happen when the time is right anyways i love u soo much ( and also my bad i dont really know how to express what i want to say but hope u get it and it helps u

Growth is good and often you have to move away and get yourself out of your comfort zone to do it. I moved countries😁and it was hard, but I found I could do it, really stand on my own two feet and be fine. It’s okay to second guess your decision to move, especially after moving so far from home. It’s normal. And it’s normal to question your next steps. It shows you care about your life and the direction it leads you next. Please don’t stress about it too much though. Have fun, enjoy where you are right now and the new opportunities you have in Florida. You don’t have to stay there forever but I think it’d be cool if you gave yourself some grace and simply enjoyed the moment. Your life journey is your own. There is no timetable that says you have to have your life together by a set age. That’s the beauty of life. We make it what we want it to be. Girl I love you, you seem like you are such a amazing sweet person and you are so relatable. You don't give yourself enough credit and you are truly hard on yourself. Maybe try to start making new content that keeps you busy like your workout videos again or start going on hiking trips to get you out of the house and take us with you I would be down for a walk and talk session lol. Show us people that aren't in Florida what you have around. Or throw those roller blades on and take us for a ride. It would be really good for you to get out and see life around you. Maybe start reading some books out on your balcony it looks beautiful out there and you could have your own little book club segment lol But in the meantime keep your head up and keep pushing through you've got the strength in you.
