Hey everyone, hope you enjoyed my mom's tableware collection 🥰I just returned from visiting my parents and got excited to share a little piece of home on this channel. Played around with a more conversational + documentary-esque format. Curious to hear what you think! Aw, this was such a sweet video. Loved all of the plates, but especially the pink flower and gold ones. The blue/white combo is very common and classic like your mom said. It reminded me of my parents blue/white plates they hung in our dining room, that I never really appreciated, but now looking back on it, its a nice memory to keep. I'm curious which of my family members have the plates now. With my style being cozy modern, I could see myself trying to display the plates for homage to my childhood. Wonderful collection. The Manoir shape(Manoir,Petite Fleur,French Garden,Cottage,Casa Azúl etc.) is my favorite shape from Villeroy and Boch. So clean and elegant. Then I have two absolute favorite patterns Cadiz(1970-1984) and Pasadena(1991-2005).

Wonderful collection! 😍 Lenox is my favorite brand, I like to collect them as well, but they are pricey. So, I always pick up and buy whenever I find Lenox brand at thrift stores. I can’t believe I scored the whole set of butterfly meadow series and eternal series from thrift stores.

Eunice, I collected Belleek porcelain for a while. I also am a lover of fine china, like your mother. I collected different ones from yard sales and antique shops and hung them in a vignette on the living room wall. My sister gifted me a few Portmeiron pieces that I display. Thanks for sharing!!😻

Such a diverse collection! I’d be so scared I’d break something 😂 I was with my parents as a kid when they bought their Lenox set. They let me pick out a single plate from another design. They still have it :)

Your mother and I must have been separated at birth! I love, love, love pretty dishes and accessories and I collect. My Villeroy & Boch Manoir and Basket are my favorite. I also have Bernardaud Athena Navy, Fiestaware for Mexican food, Grace's Table (from Home Goods), and Royal Doulton Gordon Ramsey "Maze." Not all my patterns are complete sets, but that's fine. I have serveware in different patterns. You can't change your furniture every single day, but you can change your tablescapes daily. Soon I'm going to make more of an effort to hit thrift shops regularly for more china. . You can also use accessory pieces in unexpected ways. A gravy boat is nice to hold a kitchen sponge. A nice small round bowl is good for putting packets of Splenda. I also collect tins. They're so much nicer than acrylic containers. Just label them on the bottom so you know what's in them.
