Thank you Clara. How can you know? Firstly, We would say grow to know God's mind for yourself. Then whatever parents or guidians have to say would corroborate what God had told you if it is the Truth. Secondly, If your parents show sincere concern, they'd at least tell you their reasons. Possible red flags they have seen and why they don't think you are making a good choice. You then have to evaluate their points and assess the guy against those red flags. That way you would know if they are right or they are just speaking from a superstitous or superficial point of view. Most importantly, 'what is God saying to you?' That is what can keep you going. Your parents would not go through marriage with you. Praying for you and wishing you all the best. - The Stalwart Lovers

Its well. Most of our parents are so rigid in their opinions especially the ones that are tribalistic it has affected my youngs ones to be realistic. I've heard of a mother that vow never to bless the marriage nor attend the wedding either God says or not. I think its easier for guys to stand against parents choices than ladies.
