This song hit me right in the damn gut last night. I replayed it about 30 times before I went to bed. It was deeply ingrained in my subconscious at that point, and this morning I woke up and ordered The Waterfall II on vinyl because I just needed this masterpiece. This song is incredibly powerful. It invokes so many emotions that sometimes I struggle to come to grips with a singular one while listening. It’s a beautiful conglomeration of joy, sadness, grief, longing, and hope. Just lovely song writing.
