Thank you so much for saying that! I obviously think all of those sound great too 😊 My favorites keep shifting, but right now I'm most excited for The Stolen Queen, Cross My Heart and Water Moon. I think those will be a very good mix. I'll have Cross My Heart available on audiobook in January, so hopefully I can get to that!

I haven't heard of any of these so thank you for this!! a book that starts at the Met Gala sounds intriguing 👀 Cross my heart is an cool concept for a thriller. Water Moon looks beautiful and sounds beautiful! I need more cozy reads 😊 Penitence cover is also pretty 😍 mask of the deer woman sound really cool too

I tried so hard not to include all the ones I see everyone else talking about, so I'm glad to hear these were new to you! 😄 I know, right? That alone! I'm so excited to find some good thrillers, I've barely read any this year. And Water Moon is probably my favorite, cover and premise... perhaps too cozy for me, but it also sounds adventurous! Haha I just read that you wanted more cozy ^^ Hopefully it's perfect for us both!

Here I am opening my Goodreads to add these books to my TBR 😂 I don’t think I’ve heard of any of these but so many sound great! Love those covers for Daughter of Chaos and Water Moon, so pretty! You sold me as soon as you said a murder mystery set in Scotland, I didn’t even need to hear any more (but it sounds great too)! And I’m always a bit skeptical when a book says it’s an addictive page turner while it also has the word literary, haha, I feel like it can’t be both but who knows!! Excited to check these out! Oh and I love the purple background 😊💜

I could have it as a poster on my wall. I hope it's good! Haha I thought of you for the Scotland one! 😆 It's always so fun to hear which ones appeal to different people. Exactly! Insight about forgiveness and page-turner? I mean Beartown kind of does a similar thing, but it's not exactly fast paced. I don't know, I am curious. Describing The Stolen Queen as a mix between The Devil Wears Prada and The Da Vinci Code is so ACCURATE based on the summary. Daughter of Chaos and Penitence are right up my alley as well~ I am definitely adding these to my tbr when they are out!

SO MANY NEW READS! I don't keep up with new releases so this is always so nice to watch these kind of videos so I can be aware of what's being released soon 🤭 From this list, I'm interested in Daughter of Chaos. The fantasy aspect, and the cover looks gorgeous. Lots of mystery thrillers in your list it seems like -- I definitely want to know your opinions on them because I'm on a QUEST to read a thriller/mystery I enjoy.... and then I'll crawl back into my romance corner 😂 I will say I attempted this in November and it put me in a reading slump but I'm not easily defeated. I also love the new setting! THE PURPLE. DOES IT SMELL LIKE PURPLE? LOL, sorry, but it looks really good and fits perfectly with your channel aesthetics.

I usually don't either, but I think it's so fun to browse and collect little nuggets of gold! 😄 Feels like a treasure hunt to me. Yes Daughter of Chaos sounds great! I'm on the same quest to find a good mystery thriller, some are not great! I will have Cross My Heart on audio in January, so I'll try to get to that one pretty quick! There needs to be a good balance of mystery and suspense for me, not too scary, but I just listened to one and it was basically just a drama with mentions of a gun every now and then... like that's not what I want!!! 😂 Give me fast paced, suspenseful, cliffhangers at the end of every chapter and a couple of gasp-y twist moments and I'm good. Too much to ask? Haha thank you! It does NOT smell like purple! 😆💜

this is SUCH great timing because i just made my list of anticipated releases today and there are quite a few here that I didn't know about! I had The Stolen Queen and Water Moon (SO keen for that one!!), but the other ones will have to be added! (especially The Inheritance because that has me so intrigued!)

I was going to do one video for Jan-June, but that would have been a veeery long video XD And I tried not to mention the most popular ones, even though some of them sound good to me too. I think so too! 😊 I just browse on goodreads! There are a bunch of big names and titles coming out, these are perhaps a bit more hidden gems. If they're good, we'll see!

@@Curious-Cat Happy coincidence! I have February’s list ready to go, which is a bit more diverse, I even think there’s a male author on there! (I had planned to do Jan-June but that would have been a very long video as it turns out 😂)
