1. Angel Nova is a fruity floral, not a fruity gourmand. Other than the fruits, there are no actual food notes. 2. The reason you smell patchouli in Angel Nova is because Akigalawood is a synthetic molecule that smells like a cross between patchouli and black pepper. I’ve heard quite a few fragrance reviewers say it smells like oud to them, but I’ve never gotten that.

We are on the same wave length with scents.I live for beast mode fragrances and am curating a beast mode fragrance collection with a few strays here and there. I'm going to try the Nova and DE combo, that sounds like it's going to eat down! You should try Guidance 46, it's smoother and has a more candy like feel, that off putting note at the beginning isn't there. I hated both in the summer and got my nose on them again during thanksgiving. An entirely different experience, to the extent that I now have both. How does ylang ylang nosey be perform?

Hello from one beast mode Queen to another one! 🥰 On your recommendation i may try the new Guidance because you are like the 3rd person who said the new one is better. Oh my goodness Ylang Ylang Nosy Be is just wonderful! Its lasts forever on me! And even longer on clothes. Im going to pick up some more fragrances from the house. That fragrance is a masterpiece in my opinion! And i don’t even care for florals like that. But this is a yellow floral so maybe thats why it hits different for me! Thank you so much for watching! ♥️
