I want to share my clothes shopping experience from the other day. I HATE shopping for clothes. I've never felt like clothes fit on me and I'm usually uncomfortable trying on new things. I was trying on some new jeans and a dress at Target and I felt amazing! I think a lot of it comes from watching your videos. You radiate body positivity and the entire time I was trying on things I was thinking things like "look at that booty!" and stuff like that. And I totally was hearing those words in your voice! Thank you so much for doing what you do. You may not know it, but you're changing women's mindsets about their bodies and self confidence. ❤❤❤

Debbie Downer here.. but usually ThredUp gives 40% off first order. I ordered $200 worth (that was with 40% off!) and had so many problems with checkout... I chatted with customer service and they were unhelpful and very dismissive... like "no sorry, can't help you... anything else?" Thanks for nothing. My husband had to make a second account and transfer everything over just to make the check out work. So we ordered and you get an email from the CEO like it's him personally asking how your experience was... so I wrote back tp him telling him how frustrating the experience was. That was November..... still waiting for a response. I expected much more! And the clothes weren't the quality the pictures showed. I.E . holes torn in pockets, faded fabrics but looked bright on the site etc. Won't ever shop there again... 😕

To remove the chapstick stain run the spot with baby powder or any talcum powder let it sit for a bit to soak up the oil then spot wash with dish soap and then launder as normal. That gets out majority of oil or grease based stains

It's true - second hand shopping gives you lots of options - there are pieces I see that are from stores that don't exist in my city...and just a lot of variety in general. And the low prices also encourage experimentation.

I love ThredUP and have bought a ton of stuff there. My one issue: they don’t list the waist measurements for skirts, just the length which is BONKERS because sizes vary so much by brand. Their measurements for dresses are also just so-so. Normally, if I see a dress I like and the listed measurements seem off, I go to the brand’s site, find a similar dress to the one I’m looking at on ThredUp, and see what measurements are listed for that size. It’s annoying, but it saves me from returning.
