I mean more often than not the gear can be used for real life, just add plates to the plate carrier and swap out the ops core for a real one, and you have a roughly ready to go SHTF combat kit. also for CQB mostly the tactics can *somewhat* be applied for training, with some exceptions of course.

Your velcro belts in every loadout videos gave me idea on how to set up my airsoft loadout especially the tactical belt so that it won't move up or down whenever I moved Although my velcro belt is just a long strip of velcro (soft hairs one) and the buckle is just the short cut of the opposite of the velcro (the hard hairs one), it's still a progress and works quite well.
