Join me to explore Quiapo Market in Manila on a very busy Sunday. In this video, I have tried out my favorite food from the Philippines and cannot wait to try it out again!
The Philippines reached the top of my list of most favorite countries after visiting 40 countries. Filipino people are among the most accommodating, welcoming, and kindest nations I have ever met. Even though Filipino hospitality & kindness is not new to me, I have met many expats in Dubai and knew what to expect from the country's people. 🙏🏽
So happy to be here and spending a few weeks around the islands to make the best out of my long-processed visa and share my experiences with you.

Filipinos loves to shop and mingle with vendors. They like to eat variety of stuff. I am very happy to see that you can negotiate with the shop owners. Palabok is a Merienda is a light meal Philippines. Usually taken in the afternoon, it fills in the meal gap between lunch at noon and dinner, or between breakfast and lunch. I wonder why the young vendor said that it costs ₱50 while the older vendor said that it was ₱100. I hope they are giving the actual prices and not overcharging tourists. You offered to pay for the two ladies food, then they say they have other companions. It's ok to be generous but I hope that people don't take advantage of it. The red egg is actually salted egg. It is best eaten with tomatos and rice. You could also try eating kare-kare, bicol express, laing, chicken curry, menudo etc. with rice.

I was so happy specially with the way you interacted with the young lady that sold you mangoes! You see, even though poor vendors are genuinely host and do not take advantage of foreign tourist. I’ve fallowed you from the very first day of your vlog., when you had your first “Pares meal” in Makati! It is such a blessing to see your channel grow! I pray that your channel will grow more than you have imagined, and I know it will because you have a good heart! Just a reminder, “ALWAYS GIVE THE PEOPLE YOUR CHANNEL AND ASK THEM TO SUBSCRIBE EVERY CHANCE YOU CAN GET! THE MINUTE THEY CONVERSE, GIVE IT TO THEM, and it’s not imposing; often times Filipinos get carried away with excitement and tend to forget to ask for your channel, so keep it mind to always give give give them your channel.i’ve noticed that quite a few times you forget to give your channel, that is automatically missed opportunity!
