What you see is authentic. We wouldn't travel so far to find stuff if we were just trashing the rivers for a video. The number of guns in our waterways is insane. You don't have to fake anything if you just get out there and search.

What ever he does, if he gets some guns, make sure he contacts the police and have them check to make sure they have not been used in a crime, if he gets caught later on and the guns have been used in a crime, he could be charged, they will take the guns but in most places if they are clean you can get them back to keep

Nice piece ya found ....Take it apart and clean it up real well and soak it some type of penetrating opil lubricant to prevent anymore of that metal eating water to pitting up the barrel . Hell i would soak that puppy in some oil for a week or so just bring it back to life ..... I think you might have a perfect piece there . All ya need to do is add a lil bit TLC to it ... Otherwise a good watch !

I wish I would have kept it but I travel in my little ford explorer and it's not easy bringing home magnet fishing finds. They don't smell that great. Especially on a 9 hours drive 😂. Always good to here from ya and hope all is well.

I’m in Arkansas also, and my son and I have started magnet fishing, are there any laws or anything that we have to worry about? I tried googling it and couldn’t find anything about magnet fishing. Also, do you just drive around to find spots or do you scout ahead and if so how do you do that? We’ve found a couple rusty nails but that’s been about it.

We just look for bridges on Google maps and try them. If we don't find much we just move on to the next spot. It's normal for us to fish 10 bridges in one day just trying to find a good one.

Laws are iffy. Most cops just don't want you on the bridge but as of now you should be legal. South Carolina and Louisiana are the only states i know of with magnet fishing laws so far
