Think you can't speak of a low center of gravity head. You can't notice that at all. Just a low coolinghead. I have no heat problems with my ultimate m3x in the mugen truggy. That's a 8 ribs head......

@@kings-racing The issue with mine is that it sits below the bed of the body so it basically had no airflow at all

@@NitroMike it's the same as mine. I have no problem with it, but i ran it on the track with 16%, so on the track you don't have that much reving. Maybe that's why i have no problem. Just run it a bit richer i think if you do the longer pulls.

My tuned .18 is vicious too, sometimes when opening throttle from bottom end the front and rear diffs fight it out and the car wiggles forward angrily. I love it

Yea the lower heads like say the nova bonito when temped read like 40 degrees higher than normal heads do. It’s not a fault of the engine or heads. This is why we don’t tune by temp. I have many engines with low heads like the os speed b2101 and b21 ty2 and usually run around 240-ish. Keep at it and you’ll get it if ur tune is possibly off. Those engines are quite finicky to tune for sure.

The Triton naturally runs hot mine runs about 300°? It's very finicky and there's a fine line on the tune took me a bit to figure it out

All my tritons like to run around 300 degrees at its optimal performance.. run it and temp it if you think it’s getting too hot

check your shims the bad thing about RCR he thinks by pulling shims it gets more power he did same thing to my nova .28-5 took out a .20 shim for no reason so put the shims back if any are missing you can put a cooler plug in it but tuning gets harder

Cooling head litteraly sits below the body shell. It ran fairly rich but still overheated with the shell on
