You are the reason I'm re-entering my Mac era. 😭Could you tell us a bit more about the Prep + Prime Highlighters? Are they like touche eclat? How would they fit in a routine?

I like that you suggest considering face size and preferred technique. I keep a clean powder and clean buffing (dense) brush to blend too

I learn so much from you, thank you for your service! 💖 Also what tan are you wearing please? Have a great day x

Excellent... I need to weed out brushes I really don't need/use and focus on what I have to serve my application and desired outcome needs! Also... stop hoarding brushes just because they're a good price and going forward invest in brushes that will last, serve my needs and probably save $ (and clutter and brush confusion) in the end. Thank you so much!!!💜

Oh yah I. Was just thinking about that the other day that I was like there's just some rando brushes I don't use and keeping them serves no purpose.

MAC brushes before they switched to syntethic were very good. Now they're you run of the mill brushes, I much prefer to buy real technic because cost-quality wise mac isn't there anymore. I have several 217's and 239's that were bought between 2010-2012 and they still hold up very well. Bought the new 217 and it's stiff, the fibre aren't as thing and fluffly as the old ones. for that price I might as well go to rephr sadly. I understand why they switched but I'm sorry the quality isn't there anymore and they are too expensive for what they are. Loved you video though, very clear as always ! :)

Oh I disagree, they entire open up and work just like natural hair, I can hardly tell the difference anymore. The only brush that was an issue was the original launch of the 217 it was cut incorrectly and then they fixed it. I find a lot of "Mac dupes" like sigma are so insanely synthetic I have to dip into the shadow 4x to get what 1x with a MAC brush would do. Rephr looked cool when it came out but I'm not really into buying online but they're prettt

I have most of the MAC brushes, but I have my favorites. I'm surprised my old natural MAC brushes are still going strong. I have only had problems with a few of the ferrules coming separated from the handle. Ironically, it's only the synthetic haired. It happens, I guess. Thank you for making this video. It helped me to see how a few of the brushes I have been using the wrong technique with 😄❤

Tbh I can't even tell the difference anymore between them and I only know something is old cause the natural hairs break and then it's scratchy hahaha

Love this, great video, learned so much! How do we feel about the MAC 270 Concealer brush?? I’ve been thinking about adding that one to my rotation. Would love your thoughts!

@@missmeganrobinsonn I’m going to get the Prep and Prime in Bright Forecast and the Studio 24H concealer to replace what I am currently using now when it runs out. Do you think that brush would be suitable for those products or would you recommend a different MAC brush? As always thank you for replying to mine and all of our comments. I’ve learned so much from you since finding your channel! 💄❤️
