Veronica Muthoni craves for parental love. She has been in constant disagreements with her mum all her life. At some point it was so bad that when she was in hospital with her son, her mum visited them, but she cursed the boy and he passed on that evening. The boy had to be buried in a public cemetery since she was denied a grave site back at home.
Things got worse when her father left all his inheritance to her, which escalated the hate from the rest of the family. Despite her mum being unkind to her, Muthoni says she still loves and respects her, as a mother.
