I'd highly recommend putting the knee pads on the main yoke part on the back. Having it on the side not only looks a bit shit but it can catch on to things. Fight light bud... There are a lot of things that are not needed in your webbing. Things that could easily be carried in a combat jacket or patrol bag.

Typical cadets webbing ......all the stuff you pulled out the right hand ammo pouches can be carried in your jacket , why the big jet boil ? You cooking for your section ? First aid kit in with your rations ...fumbling around in the dark you’ll pull out half your rats before the first aid kit , why tape a pull tab and put your wattle bottle upside down ...the bottle has a tab securing the lid to the bottle ....if that’s the layout/contents of your webbing ....I hate to think how your bergen is packed ......

Hes also, you know, a cadet? Who are you to care where he puts his wattle bottle

Never half full the bladder! Especially a tiny one like that! You need a minimum of two litres of water on a patrol, whether that be 2 water bottles (usually one in the webbing one in the day sack) or a water bottle and bladder. Carrying any less is likely to promote dehydration as you need at least one litre of water for drinking and one litre for cooking so with you carrying a 900ml bottle and a half full what looks like 1litre bladder you aren’t meeting the minimum requirements for nutritional intake on exercise.

All cadet organisations will have jerry cans full of water with cadre groups at all time. No need to carry huge amounts of water.
@nathanbenson22376 жыл бұрын
All Kitted Out 2 litres of water isn’t massive amounts and this might be an ATC thing but I’ve been to plenty of places where I’ve been out for the whole day before getting back to whatever place we set up our bashas to get water
@allkittedout40906 жыл бұрын
That looks to be a H&S risk. These are other people's children and not having ready access to water when we are working them hard for their age is a no no. Duty of care!

Im on an Armed Forces Preparation course at college and that webbing is proper shit, why put half of litre camelbak in your utility when you could just put a 1 litre bottle and cup inside it with a brew kit, then either carry another litre in your day sack or get a proper camelbak cover and attach it the the back of your webbing or in your day sack. Our staff is a Sgt and he makes us carry one litre in out bergen and minimum 2 litres on our person.
