Esther has been through a lot of misery. Speaking on Tuko Talks, she could not hold her tears when narrating that the man she called baba(father) had plans to infect both her and her mother with HIV. He attempted to abuse her several times and when he almost succeeded, she finally decide to tell her mother. The lady who was supposed to protect her then fell ill after contracting HIV which forced Esther to run away from home to look for ways to make money so that she can come save her siblings from their father.

We kids born in the 80‘s, specially by young mothers who end up being single, have experienced a lot and we sometimes can’t talk about it. If we try to talk, we are silenced… so we end up in deep stress and wondering why and if others have gone through this !!!! It’s a sad reality! But many of our grandparents tried their best when our parents couldn’t. We also have learned a lot on how to deal with our own kids! That’s life ! Pole dear Easther. Keep being strong !
