it was a fantastic "kids on bikes" film. Very much of it's time. But it was very striking. As a kid who needed a stick I really wanted Dracula's extending lightening rod cane. I thin i was a couple of years younger when I saw it, and was quite confused at how a bunch of kids who loved monsters, mutants and fantasy didn't like science in school. I need to re watch it though, as there's no way I'm remembering the ending right " Dear army, I've gone to fight the monsters" that can't be right...can it?
