- Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association We were disqualified because of politics and we had no hand in Jinja SS' disqualification - JIPRA Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA) have spoken out after they were eliminated from the USSSA tournament for allegedly using ineligible players! JIPRA's statement: There are too many irregularities in the FUFA licensing system. All the mentioned players have their academic documents and are as well affiliated to various clubs. Mpasa Swabir and Masambo Yasin are BUL FC under 17 players! They were summoned for U17 National duty just months ago meaning they’re eligible as per their age! Jarieko James is a player at Onduparaka with a valid national ID stating 2004, pass slip 2004. Kibirango Eric was part of the U17 BUL FC team that won the Juniors League last year! His document is valid, stating 2004 as well. We were unjustly disqualified from the tournament because of politics. As regards the rumors that we gave evidence against our brothers Jinja SS, it’s totally not true! If we had to make a choice between playing AMUS College and Jinja SS, we’d choose the latter
