Baby whisk AND a sweet helper? I think you are getting spoiled! :) Thanks for the recipe that my frozen tofu has been waiting for! I want to mention - I'm not vegan or vegetarian, but I try to limit my meat intake for better overall health. Your recipes have been new to me but are such a great addition to my meal planning, thanks Andrew!

Love that tofu press! We just wrap our tofu in a hand towel, put it on a plate, and place a cast iron pan on top. My husband uses that technique where you freeze the tofu then thaw and press. When you marinate it the flavor is so much better. Love your videos ❤😊

Been cooking some of your recipes for about 6 months now, never commented, but they have all been amazing, this one has saved my Thanksgiving so thank you. I’ve used the Trader Joe’s tofurkey in the past but it’s not available this year and now I’m happy it isn’t. We had it for dinner this evening as a test run, it’s totally delicious and will be on the table for Thanksgiving. Thanks again

This looks amazing! And I have everything on hand with exception of the vegan Worcestershire sauce. I’ve seen some recipes for that though, may be time to try it. I wanted to try some type of nut or bean loaf with gravy for this holiday, to provide an alternative at our gatherings this year….haven’t started looking for one to try yet though. Love your little sous chef hands helping Dad pull this recipe together. Teaching my children to cook, and making that a safe place for them was always a light in the kitchen for me. Now I do it with 8 yr old grandson. Thanks Andrew, and your little Sous Chef! Love the recipes and discussions….🙏🏻🫶🏻

I have such a hard time with that tofu press on the firmer tofus. Literally just had to use my elbow to provide enough leverage / pressure to clip the 2nd end on. How do you do it?!
@thenarddogcooks10 ай бұрын
😂 so funny, you say that I actually have three of these tofu presses. Two of them I can clamp any tofu down with no issue. But the third one it's sometimes a pain in the rear. Maybe we got those at the same time. I also happen to get tofu from other places (shopRite, Wegmans, Acme, Whole Foods, Aldi... shopping for the cheapest), and sometimes the block is more thick than it is wide, and other times vice versa. I typically only have an issue If it's the thicker variety. The wider one I seem to have zero problems no matter what press I'm using.
