Hi Emma. I spent many years avoiding puffer coats as I thought they were shapeless, unflattering and I felt like the Michelin tyre man when trying them on! Eventually, I found a fantastic one which was a tulip shape design, not shiny, made by a company called Degrade and cost over €200 . However, it’s about 5 years old now and is my warmest coat as well as looking as good as the day I bought it. I’m so glad I held out for a more feminine and as ‘elegant’ a design as a puffer coat can be !! It’s certainly been worth the money. Being warm is essential in cold winter weather and as always, you showed us some lovely,practical cosy items.❤️❄️🥰

Luv this video Emma! Even though we are not the same size, I am very petite, I get a lot of inspirations from your video's. Especially when talking about practicalities in our wardrobe ❤❤❤.

I have an Arket puffer and while I love it for warmth, it´s absolutely dismal in the rain. I don´t think I´ve ever had a coat that leaks as fast as mine does.

Hi Emma. I have a puffer coat from Quince that I love. My Uniglo Heat tech shirts arrived yesterday but I have not tried them on as of yet. Thanks for the video.

Arket and H&M also do "hoods", which is a beanie/hat attached to a neck piece. Handy! 😘

Good essentials. I would add a heavier raincoat which is what I need here on Vancouver Island in BC, Canada. While we don’t usually get snow or even all that cold, it is a rainforest and lives up to that name. Underneath I wear a fleece layer or insulated vest and definitely waterproof boots…especially if I’m going for a walk on the beach. 😊

Great list, I think the shoe inserts are a fantastic idea.

I love your snood suggestion as it gives a more streamline look and doubles as a face mask in a pinch

I love your sense of humour, Emma. 😂 You whispering: “Mummy, what’s a condom?” Now, let’s hope kids are not reading the comments section. Anyway, your videos are always such a cozy experience. 😊

You have now enticed me into ordering a snood! It certainly looks a lot less bulky than a scarf when out for casual walks in the cold! One question about the forest green Arket beanie you showed on the vlog. Your link went to the Alpaca/Merino version, of which I have the black version and love. However I couldn't see the green one amongst the colours on the website for this version, Although there is a cheaper wool blend advertised in forest green on their website. Is this the version you have? If this is your last vlog till after the holidays, can I please wish you, Simon and the Bs a very, very merry Christmas and all good wishes for 2025 (and also to all Emma's online community as well!). Xxx

Once again a very useful video and recommendations. I totally agree with you about not doing well in the cold 🥶 I am grumpy when I’m cold and this from a Canadian 😂! I blame it on living in the Netherlands for the last 20+ years and dealing with damp cold, rain and wind. Being toasty warm is bliss!! I was in Toronto for 9 weeks this autumn and stocked on heat tech items at Uniqlo. I’m a walking advertisement for their products and I have never felt so warm and cozy. Merry Christmas Emma and to Simon and the doggies 🎄wishing you a wonderful holiday season and a Happy 2025 🥂

I absolutely hated the look of puffer coats/vests before I moved to Serbia from South Africa. They are a must now and I own 6 in different styles and lengths.

Hi Emma! This is a SOS petition: Please turn off the automatic audio dubbing of KZbin, I can’t see your videos anymore, I can’t stand you ‘speaking’ in Spanish! Is more than annoying this new function!
@EmmaHill3 сағат бұрын
Hi, this was turned on automatically by KZbin as a new feature and as far as I known we aren't able to turn it off from our end. However you can turn it off from the settings on the video when you are watching it from your end ❤️
@janelleespinosa62473 сағат бұрын
Yes, on top of her video to the right, hit the settings wheel, it should give you a Captions option, try just turning it off. I actually subscribe to YT, not sure if that is why it's easier for me, but it's the best money I've ever spent, since I watch so many videos!
