The trailer doesn't do justice to the film. It's also an old movie, 2010, and trailers of bollywood movies back then weren't the best in showcasing the true image of the movie. I'm sure they would've done a better job of editing the trailer if it was made now. It's a great movie though, perfectly potrays the struggles of Muslims living in the US after 9/11

This was their worst reaction. They first kept judging trailor. That's ok. But then they kept hoping that film will be much better than trailor. But then they again judged the trailor. Ultimately, though indirectly they were almost questioning the film itself ( although they had disclamers) and they also probably questioned the taste of indians when it came to choosing quality films. I think we indian subscribers could also be at fault. Many Indians might have hyped the trailor by requesting it again and again, which would have raised their expectations, and then what followed was this bad and distasteful trailor reaction.

11:08 - no you're absolutely right, I agree with you. SRK and Karan Johar (the director) have a thing where they overdo the acting. Very glad you picked up on it and brought it up, because as an actor yourself, you can always tell about a performance. Them playing up that aspect is almost dumbing down for the audience, which you see in a lot of the "big blockbuster" movies in Bollywood, as they try to cater to an audience ranging from 1-90 years of age.

Indian movies are long because we indians want it that way, Indian films contains musical numbers because we indians want it that way, Indian trailors are long because that's how indians want it to be right? So it is better for us indians not to be embarrassed about our indianness, our indian ways of making films and film trailors. It is for these 4 Americans to get adjusted to indian ways, of movies and indian ways of trailor making. Being an Indian I found nothing wrong with the trailor and I had watched movies based on such trailors only. If Karan Johar wants to make movie for western audiences then he should make trailor based on the advises of these four gentleman reacting to this trailor. Am I saying any thing wrong?

You guys have completely messed up the trailor reaction. This trailor was made in 2010. This trailor was made for international audience ( and not only the American audience). The trailor was made a touch lengthy so that the western and non south asian audience who are absolutely NAIVE about the thriving indian film industry, can understand something about the movie rather then stereotyping the Indian movies as just dramatic musical numbers. So chill out and if you want to really explore Indian cinema then you have to watch old indian movies and old indian trailors which may not necessarily look good Different opinions on a single trailor? How come? All four of you did was that you murdered the trailor and possibly would have created a lack of interest in old indian films trailors and there by publicly denouncing the quality of old Indian movies for the international audience which views your channel. You guys in USA bare fighting for " black lives matter" movement right? This film is fighting for Brown lives matter too, South asian lives matter too Indian lives matter too, Muslim lives matter too, People with autistic syndrome, their lives matter too, People with minor psychological disorder, their lives matter too, Indian movies matter too And for you guys indian subscribers also matter too. So rather than comparing the old trailor with new indian or foreign trailors, it's better to compare the international trailors made in those days and indian movie trailors in those days. This was one of the most shitiest trailor reaction ever in your channel. Although you kept on saying that you are not judging the film based on trailor, but you kept on doing that again and again all four of you. See if all four of you are going to say the same thing ( you said we are having different opinions) but you kept on saying the same thing about trailor. No one said even s thing positive about trailor and all of you kept on hoping that the film would be better than the trailor.
