I find it crazy how much I used to take this guy's stuff for granted. Like I started out listening to him and just was into it because it was my first exposure to the genre and I was like "this is loud, but it's new and I actually only really enjoy a couple songs" so when I started to branch out my tastes in dubstep, I sorta just stopped trying to listen to this guy a whole lot, but coming back to this now, I never really cared for it before, but damn NOW I know this is a classic BANGER. A friend put it on my boombox in my apartment 2010, I walked into the room maybe 2 mins into the track and he told me that "this is the From First To Last guy's electronic music thing". After the section that starts at 2:28 I remember my jaw dropped. Only time I distinctly remember hearing something that I hadn't heard anything like before. If you weren't really into music back in 2009/2010, dubstep hitting the mainstream was like alien music being discovered and going viral.

I was 9 years old when my cousin showed me this video. Skrillex was in India in 2015, I was still too young to attend his concert. I am now 23 years old and I will be witnessing the legend who made up most of my childhood, teenage and now adulthood, live. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm going to actually see him on stage, I'm pretty sure I'm going to cry or at least tear up. I hope I find more people like me who feel the same way or at least had a similar experience.
