I wish I had journaled my natural hair journey. I never did the big chop. Just transitioned the perm for a very long time out of my head. It all broke off. Like, there was no strength in it. I am a braid wearer but when not in braids, I do the twists. Got that 4c rocking out.

It’s never too late to document your hair journey! It’s interesting you mentioned your hair breaking while transitioning. Makes me think of the line of demarcation. It’s crazy how relaxers break down the bonds in our hair. Twists and braids are like the top of the top protective styles 🙌🏽 Type 4 is so versatile and really where it’s at 😁
