Love this, it's a lot of work given how much hair you actually have, just did a wash day video too, and I and my very short hair are tired

Love your video! Next time try using African pride black castor oil detangling takedown protective masque, it literally like butter and smells so good! Especially when you leave it overnight 💫

- If it’s one thing I learn since being natural since 2007, never shy away from a professional trim. Trust me you’ll be saving your hair to get it professionally trimmed vs trying to “save” your length not cutting it. Remember, split ends travel up the length of our hair and bc our hair is kinky curly, we can’t see the true extent of damage. Also, incorporate protein DC to strengthen your hair if your curls ain’t poppin like they should be.

I definitely think i'm going to be doing a protein treatment really soon! Thank you for the suggestion :)

Love your videos!! And girl I was going through something similar last year when my hair just felt off. I have low porosity hair so I was skeptical about protein treatments, but I used the Shea Moisture Manuka and Honey Hair Protein Treatment, I use a hooded dryer with it for about 15-20 minutes and I try to do it once a month so that way, it's not too much protein for me, but at the same time making sure my hair has protein for time to time. Also, I would say to try having in your braids for less time. Instead of 6 weeks, maybe keep them down to 3-4 weeks, but whatever works for you best, do it. Love Xx

yesss that's why im so afraid to try protein because i'm low porosity too, but if my hair needs it i'm willing to give it a try!! Thank you for the suggestions babe 💙💙

Single strand knots are of the devil 😫

Like literally😩.. told u i might have to cut it lol

I find that I get single strands knot from product buildup you need to try to clarify your hair then go in with a moisturizing shampoo

I don’t think you should cut it sometimes After your hair is braided up for a while it gets dull and lifeless. It looks very thick and healthy probably needs a protein treatment or maybe the Aztec clay mask.

I'm definitely going to try the protein treatment ASAP! 💙
