As myself a Korean, I am very impressed how they try so hard to take it seriously and adapt themselves into Korean society as well. I don't understand all these not-so-friendly comments without even knowing their efforts. 댓망진창 돋네.

@Ice Tea Tell that to BTS, Twice, Blackpink, Monsta X. They are killing it in the USA. Also, DBZ and GITS can burn in hell for all I care but what does whit actors have to do with any of this. A lot of Asian people play white roles too and they are met with so much love. Even more so, anyone who doesn't like them gets called racist. Black people have the same problem too. Black roles played by white people are met with hate and black people playing white roles are met with praise

Foreign fans are jealous because they actually audition for SM, BigHit, JYP, etc. but they don’t get chosen these guys have their own agency so they are doing something right. But i cant lie when i say this id chose them over BTS any day. They remind me of how BTS was before they got their first win with I Need U and were grateful. Not saying that they aren’t grateful anymore but they seem to know they will always win. No questions asked Exp Edition are just conquering their dream but in the process they need discipline and confidence. They should believe that one day they’ll perform in front of thousands maybe millions and they’d be there for them. Their own tour. Id buy that ticket for sure.

As Internationals fans we want Kpop to be more spread around the world and to be more recognized. When BTS won at the BMA we were all really happy and also angry when hate comments were made by JB fans or other. But now some non-Korean Kpop lovers want to be idols we bash them ??? Let's be honest if JYP/YG/SM or any other companies held trainee audition in Europe or in America or Africa some of you we'll be front line in front of the door !!

I need to understand something. I'm pretty sure that many of foreign fans of kpop have dreamed to be part of this universe. So why when some guys like them who have decided to fullfil their dreams are rejected by foreigners ? Why ? It takes a lot of courage and work. I'm not a fan of them but at least they must be respected.

not to be mean and without a bias but....everyone who wants to stand a CHANCE in this industry had to try and work very hard especially the legend kpop groups who had to pave the way for the 3rd generation groups. because no matter how much you like or hate them...in the end EXP was formed to be a project while the people who actually train their whole youth away have to seriously choose if they want to become an idol or if they have to get an average and stable job and leave their dreams behind in order to support themselves and their families. I know you didn't write that with a bad intend but please...think about these people too. (no bad feelings intended^^)

South Korea isn’t like western in my opinion, in western entertainment like America it really doesn’t matter where you’re from because America is already a mixed country with many nationalities and races and it goes that way for people who entertain as well, whereas South Korea isn’t so much a mixed culture place like America, so maybe that’s why it kinda doesn’t seem that natural for them to break in South Korean entertainment.

extra plus ordinary lovesbeingextra there are a lot of korean groups disbanded because of lack of appreciation and with tons of talent. This guys are not bad but definetly are not at idols level. They lack a lot of training to be good in at least one thing. But they are determined enough to be succesfull and that makes the difference. No matter what comments they encounter, they can be big if they don't give up.

THERE IS A NORM IN KPOP. It's obvious. People think Kpop is for Koreans only or for a band with a majority of Koreans and a single or two foreigners in it. People think Kpop is not meant for white people. THAT IS THE NORM. This is why this group is trying to break that norm.

TO THE MEMBERS OF EXP EDITION: Even though you guys are receiving so many hate comments by international Kpop fans, there are some of us who atcually like what you guys are doing. Personal, I think that it's great. Not only are you guys challenging social norms and sterotypes, but you guys are taking action upon your dreams. So people say they want to become Kpop idols, but they don't any action. Just like you said Frankie, keeping moving forward. There is no turning back. I will be rooting for your guys. Your song is a bop and I really like it. 👏💖 Everyday there is a lesson to be learned. That's how we grow. Thats how EXP EDITION will grow. To those negative comments, you should use them as a reason to keep looking beyond them. There something my mom said to me once, if they talk about, you shouldn't worry. Take as a good sign. Even if they talk smack about you. I have faith that you guys will go far. Hwaiting! 👍 (Fighting!) 😆👍

I think international kpop fans who hate on them are basically just jealous cause they are not talented enough to go to Korea and actually be kpop idols. Also, most of those international kpop fans are the same ones who always comment "put english subtitles please" cause they can't say a word of Korean, but they choose to bash on someone else's ability or inability to speak korean. And ŠIme!! I had no idea he's from Croatia (I just thought Sime is some kind of a weird American name :D) And I kind of have a crush on Kiko lol I'll definitely support them!

Korea is such a homogeneous society that it is harder for these American guys to try to make it in Korea than it was for Korean artists to try and make it in America. Honestly, at first I came here to write hate comments because I wasn't really with their whole concept of non Asians in a 'kpop group' but after watching the whole video...I actually started tearing because I seen how hard they were working.. Like, we need to stop all this hate. They're actual human beings and they have feelings. I'm pretty sure if half of you (haters) met them irl then you wouldn't be spitting all that shit outta your mouth. If you don't like them, then please refrain from watching their videos and stop with the death threats. I feel so stupid for thinking like y'all. 😐 I mean, it is a bit cringey but it's actually cute if you think about it. Their Korean is quite hard to understand but you can definitely tell that they're trying their best so please don't bash them. Korean is a definitely hard language to learn, as a Korean myself ( I was born in Hawaii ), it was hard for me to pronounce certain words so I can relate with them and plus I don't think they've been here for that long.

I used to criticize them a lot since they didn't go through the training process that Korean idols went through, but after seeing this I noticed that they work really hard to improve and are really experienced. Before they entered the kpop world, they were already a group and participated in musicals. They put endless time into practicing and try to learn how to speak Korean at the same time. It's sad that they get a lot of hate mainly because of the fact that they're not Korean. I'm sorry that I mistook them as inexperienced white guys that are just doing this as a joke. They seem pretty serious about what they are doing and actually have a lot of talent. They can sing and are good looking.

I felt that they were not well accepted (not hate) as they do not have the K-pop package. Means physically - look / body , charisma (attitude), talent (brains, vocal power, musical etc.) Don't forget they are competing against many other K-pop groups.. on average last time there were 100 groups and only a small percentage that barely survive. Some didn't even earn their keep in Korea but made enough in the big market e.g. China, Japan and US. It was by touring they made $$$ not by the album. Even Psy and Hyori said their album said was not much or enough, it was other income generated by concerts, touring, sponsorships and jobs like advertisements, featured in media. But thn again as for haters, they are mere haters hiding online. Even established K-pop members from Super Juniors dn't get much love. I was surprised tht even Heechul was voted as one of the 10 most hated idol last time. Yes shocking!

People are hating on them, in truth, just because lots of foreign kpop fans have this obsession with Asians and the way handsome and pretty Asians look. I'm pretty sure there would be a lot less complaints if these guys were foreign born Asians. Just because they don't fit this aesthetic many foreign kpop fans seem to be obsessed with, doesn't mean they are not a kpop group

I find it funny how if the situation was switched, there wouldn't be any hate. Us kpop fans defended girls generation when they won the KZbin music award, we supported CL's and the Wonder Girls debut in America and we routed for BTS when the won the billboard music awards. We have seen the hate that our groups received cos they are trying to breakout in a country that is not theirs. Now we use the same comments on a group that loves Kpop just like us and are trying to do the same thing. Like wtfffffff? Don't be dumb kids. These guys are trying and learns Korean diligently, they dance and sing amazing and they are suffering and working hard to get their dreams. Stfu ok, let them be

You do not have to come just to leave hate comments and dislike the video because you don't like the group... It's weird to see non-Korean's become a K-pop group but you don't have to hate them just because others are. They are talented guys even though they make me cringe hahaha. Who's watching this in 2019??? You know, I felt bad for Frankie because he lost his brother due to cancer, and for EXP EDITION because of the hate comments by the public. I have to say here, we must never judge people like that although they have a lot more mistakes to fix. For me, it's quite unique to hear about this foreign K-Pop idol group and I decided to know more about them. Come on, guys. Let's stop judging them and give more support to them, because they have a long journey ahead of them. - CZ: Cups & All-Ups -

I do not understand why they gain soooo much hate. I mean come on they are very talented. They went through so much They have the looks and the talent My opinion is that I think that they are truly ambitious and I give them sooooo much credit because my mum always told me that anything is possible. Am not trying to pick on people because some non Koreans do auditions for Korean entertainment companies. So some people are kinda being a hypocrites and just hating on these talented handsome guys. Anyways guys I truly respect these guys and I hope they get a lot of recognition in the future. FIGHTING EXP EDITION.

My comment was not hateful, I cannot deny that they look cringey to me. It's my opinion and they are free not to give a shit about it. They can ignore the comments if they are so sensitive, it's not my problem and when you put yourself on a screen you should expect critics (not hate). Otherwise, just stay at home.

I wasn't always on board with the idea of this group but the members themselves aren't bad people. They aren't terrible, they aren't appropriating culture, they aren't doing anything wrong. They don't deserve death threats or massive amounts of hate just because they aren't Korean. We don't have a choice as international fans to say they don't belong in Korea or can't be a kpop group because it isn't our decision. They have talent and they're trying. It isn't just an experiment for them, it's their dreams. Koreans like the idea of this group and because we don't have a choice to reject them we can't say anything. I'm not a fan, but I'm still gonna ask people to leave them alone and just let them do their thing.

I must admit when i first heard of them, i wasnt on board witht the whole idea. But now i think, not all kpop idols are Korean either. Most are chinese and thai. So does becoming a kpop idol not depend on whether or not youre korean, or the fact that you can actually SING in korean? And also DANCE AND PERFORM. And I think these guys are trying their hardest with that. Just think, arent you happy when oppa or unnie sings a cover of a song in english, and arent we so proud of them and congratulate them? Then why do we 'cringe' when someone not Asian sings in korean then? And frm what Ive heard they can actually harmonize really well. Keep up the hard work guys :)

Then you'll know that they are actually studying Korean and practicing all the time. I'm not a fan but I do admire their hard work and dedication to reach their goals despite all the hate they are getting. Great on their behalf that they aren't senselessly writing hate comments back and choose to ignore immature/disrespectful people. They can actually sing, determine to get better and are positive. There is no need to curse them out or wish them death threats. Just express to them of how you think they could get better in dancing, song choices and etc in a polite way.

It's not even that they're not Korean. KPOP idols train for years + continuous hard training after debut. They have no idea what they have gotten themselves into and the experimenters seem to think they can just slap KPOP on it and be OK. It's like throwing dirt on those who have trained for years and sacrificed so much just to debut. They're not bad people or anything but it's just obvious they don't stack up and need MUCH more training. No Korean company would debut them now.

YamiKazeSora some kpop idols are at the same level and they learn and get better after debut. They are working hard trust me. A person wouldn't just throw everything away (they were something in NYC, whether in a dancing group or whatever), come to a foreign country and try so hard to learn the language if it's the means to downgrade anyone's work. I believe that them being non-Korean brings most of the hate, because some people are protective in the things they love, and don't like a bit of change in kpop to an extent that giving them a chance and hearing their story is merely impossible. I hope you do watch the episode till the end and change your aspect in the way you think of them.

This is wholesome content, they actually aren't attending Korea or kpop and are being quite respectful. Their singing is actually good and they actually are doing well and it is great that they want to do this in such a biased community.
