The man rattles my nerves, and I hope that he hasn't picked up on his schemes anywhere else. I'm glad that James is getting the intensive behavior therapy that he needs because he has hurt one too many kids. I can also relate to your situation because I wear hearing aids too and when I was in the 8th grade, I got hit in the hearing aid with a basketball which pushed it down inside my ear to the point where it wouldn't come out. My mother had to take me to the audiologist, and she managed to finally pull it out, but it had to be sent to the headquarters in Los Angeles to be repaired. The school told my parents that they could pretend like it was a pair of glasses, but my mom and stepdad argued with them about the cost of the hearing aid. So, they finally came to a solution even if it was temporary and that was for me to not have gym, and I was put to work as putting the mail in the boxes for the teachers. When I was in High School, they put me in the Healthy Living classes for two semesters in ninth grade. I wish we had known about the advocacy group, but that's okay because I am now a grown up and no longer have to deal with bullies. Hearing aids cost thousands of dollars more than glasses and are much harder to replace and/or repair if something happens to the hearing aids. I'm glad that you joined the advocacy group and that they were able to help you and your daughter out. We need more people out there to tell their stories and thank you for sharing.

Regardless of age, what his son did was wrong and his father should have corrected him for his behavior, but because he is the way he is because of his father and as a result to which he has become a problem child. Children are a reflection of their parents and because his father is such a badass he treats the other children the same way. I wish the boy to get the help he needed to fix himself and not become the same as his father. 😡😠😤😌

That's the neighbour who "moves out" in the middle of the night and is never seen again. Probably lives on a farm... Probably.

Sorry, but James should have been thrown in prison for a while because that's actually a ton of offences that he did - bribery, destruction of property/medical equipment (i.e. the hearing aid and the tablet), discrimination towards the deaf (her daughter who's deaf). I think he shouldn't have been allowed to walk away with that as a poor person. I think his kid should have had several sessions behind the woodshed too, because doing nothing will just enforce on him that he can do what he wants, when he wants and he can get away with it.

Jerk was getting away with it because people were letting him. He can't sue you if it is HIS son that is doing the damage. That could only work if a single person was suing him with frivolous law suits repeatedly, then he could go for harassment. At best.

Even if I became a parent one day, I would not allow someone to bully and hurt my child and get away with it. I know from experience what it's like to be the center of bullying every day at school, especially when you are a child with difficulties it is even more difficult, as with this little girl. These kids have enough problems and they don't need others, just talking to parents and teachers is not enough to solve the matter if there is no action and results, I know from experience what it is like to be constantly faced with the same problem every day and it cannot be solved no matter how much you ask for help. It's good that the mother was able to put this jerk on the spot and make him pay for being such a reckless parent, besides being a mean person, and that his child gets the help he needs, which will be provided to him and to understand and realize that what he did to others was wrong and that his father was in the wrong direction. 😡😠😤😌

Couldn't be about just a bad father, noooooo. had to be fraud case and a promotion. Same story new characters.

Yes They also get them for fraud even if the crime is something far worse. Attempted murder , child abuse aggravated battery cause bodily harm the list goes on. Pretty ridiculous right. They start strong telling about some crime and they move on to a fraud thing. They are just cutting and pasting from other stories they made up
