Just my two cents but you should add a rubber pitching mound and some netting that can be hidden easily. Private baseball pitching coaches or private football coaches charge an arm and a leg and it would be an easy opportunity for you to make money on top of that. None the less. Sweet build!

Word of advice, buy a roll or two of that same flooring. Flooring tends to bubble up at dumbbell areas. It won’t happen fast but when it does if the flooring design isn’t available you could use your extra roll for repairs.

Just going to throw it out there: The majority of people that train love to train in the atmosphere of a garage gym; High quality equipment specific for their training, compound movements, barbell lifts. But not everyone has an extra room in their APT or garage space (workshop for other hobbies) etc. A commercial atmosphere that provides a garage gym experience is going to be the next wave of gyms. We had globo gyms for bodybuilding and aerobic classes, then crossfit with rigs on the walls and indoor + outdoor training, but facilities like college D1 and high school strength gyms are the next phase where everyone has a rack and accessories (bench, dumbbells, bands, jammer arms, etc.) and can get their entire workout in in the rack instead of 10 pieces of different equipment. New gyms like Coops here are going to thrive. I want to lift on a Sorinex rack with a stainless steel Rogue Squat bar and calibrated plates, but I don't have $7K to drop on that for my garage...
@sama-vh8ge
@sama-vh8ge 4 жыл бұрын
Ryan Feltman precisely, a small high level gym opened in my area it’s a little pricey but they have all Watson machines, Texas and rogue deadlift bars, Calibrated eleko plates... you now can’t even get a membership there because they’re at full capacity.
@ehlpitel
@ehlpitel 4 жыл бұрын
@@sama-vh8ge Yeah, I'm surprised how many gyms have bumper plates nowadays. When i got into strength training/weightlifting ten or twelve years ago, it was a massive pain in the ass finding a place to train where you could use chalk and drop the weights- now they're almost everywhere. It's pretty great.

This place is crazy awesome coop. It’s awesome to see what you’ve accomplished but for anyone watching and thinking you need tons of equipment, you definitely do not. It’s a luxury, it helps, it’s extremely nice to have, but for your average person who wants to just feel better, get healthy, and build a few lbs of muscle a pull up bar with a suspension trainer and a few kettlebells or dumbbells work wonders.

It has a stability pad that effects out and the arms rotate 360 degrees as well as up and down... perfect corner unit so you can do can do close grip or cable cross... A little more versatile in my opinion and has a pull up bar attachment very desirable used they go for $3k ish but can always pick up one for less. My favorite FT I like them over free motion.
